This guy is sweet, ridiculously cuddly, and still convinced “no” is just a suggestion he hasn’t agreed to yet. He’s in full puppy mode: learning the rules, testing every single one, and celebrating with a full-body flop into your lap the second you sit down. Default setting? Glued to you. He’ll trail you room to room, lean hard, and snore like a chainsaw. He knows “sit,” loves treats, is crate trained, and is working hard on potty training (mostly winning). Meet Olive! This sweet 9 month old English Bulldog puppy is as adorable as her name. Olive is already learning the ropes of puppy life — she’s figuring out how to play, practicing her potty skills outside, and steadily adding weight just as she should. She weighs 20 pounds and is growing! Olive will be spayed and have her cherry eye repaired on December 29, 2025, so she’ll be all set for a healthy future with her new family. Like most bulldog babies, Olive loves to chew, especially on bones, and she’s happiest when she’s as close to her humans as possible. Cuddling in bed is her absolute favorite thing, and she never misses an opportunity to snuggle right into you. She’s not the biggest fan of crates yet — but we’re working on it, and she’s learning with consistency and patience. Olive rides fairly well in the car, too, especially when she’s buckled safely into the back seat. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who will warm your heart (and your bed!), Olive is ready to wiggle her way into your life. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Balboa is a 3-year-old, 40-pound Bulldog mix with a BIG heart and an even bigger desire to be your loyal sidekick. He’s good with dogs and kids but is a firm NO for cats. He’s potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and already knows "sit" and "stay". This sweet boy has faced some tough times, but you’d never know it from the way he loves. Balboa is pure affection — a cuddly house hippo who believes personal space is a myth. If you sit down, he’s in your lap. If you walk somewhere, he’s right behind you. If you stop petting him… he kindly requests that you reconsider. Balboa LOVES car rides — maybe a little too much — and will happily try to climb into any open car door, even if it’s not yours. He’s also very food motivated, likely from past days where meals were hard to come by. Because of that, he’s still working on manners and resisting the urge to do a bit of table surfing. Often called Bobo for short, this adorable blockhead just wants a family who will give him all the love, cuddles, and snacks his heart desires. If you’re looking for a snuggly, loyal, goofy best friend who will always be by your side, Balboa is your guy. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Hi! I’m Zaida — my name means “to prosper” or “to grow” and that describes my journey perfectly. My life hasn’t always been easy. My original owner passed away, and I suddenly found myself with family who kept me outside all the time. When I came into rescue, I didn’t really know what it meant to live inside a home or be part of a family. But wow… what an amazing new world I’ve discovered! Every day I’m learning and growing. I love my people more than anything in the whole world. I’m a smart girl; I’m both praise & food-motivated, so training with me is truly fun. I’m eager to please, and I just want to make my humans proud. A consistent, confident owner would be best for me as I continue training. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, but my foster mom is working with me on being comfortable in the crate during the day. I'm making great progress! I love to go on walks! I am learning how to be the best girl on a leash. I don’t react to other dogs on walks at all! I haven’t lived with children, but I’ve met several and been fine with them. Sweet girl Ravenna has the best gene pool and the silliest personality! Bull Terrier, Husky, and perhaps some Bulldog 😊 The Bull Terrier characteristics are quite visible. From the silly screams when she is displeased or wants attention to the comical tippy tappy toes when she is excited. Sometimes she gets so upset at something you did that she gives you her back (or butt). She refuses to look at you, and all the time while screaming bloody murder because you had done something to upset her 😀 What a child! Those eyes, oh they will suck you in. One blue, one brown. Mesmerizing! Rav has amazing recall. She can be quite independent, exploring but no matter what she has going on, she comes every time you call. She comes and immediately leans in and expects butt scratches. That is all the reward she cares for! 😊 When meeting Rav for the first time, expect her to jump to greet you. That is her version of a hug. When on a walk with Rav, make sure you have a good hold on the leash. This girl is strong! Worse, she has prey drive so if she sees a prey animal, she will pull towards it. A Freedom Harness goes a long way! If you see dogs along your walk, be prepared for some ‘embarrassment’. The Bull Terrier in her screams in excitement, along with the tippy tappy toes. This could easily be interpreted as ‘aggressive’ by most people. We cannot blame them. It takes a Bull Terrier lover to recognize, understand and embrace all the silly Bull Terrier characteristics 😊 They are a silly breed. One thing to note is that Rav can be selective in the doggie friends she wants to have. Ravenna is 6.5 years old, 60lb Bull Terrier mix. She is looking for a family who understands Bull Terriers, who will laugh at her silly displays and be amused by her. Kids are welcome but beware; she can knock them over with her exuberance.
