Fiona is 9 years old, but dont let that fool you. She is in good shape with lots of spunk for an old lady. She is very calm, never barks, bites, or gets rough. She spends her days sleeping and sitting by your side because she loves to be near her person. I adopted Fiona right before she turned 4. Fiona had two litters of puppies before I adopted her and that has lead her to have a weak bladder in her old age so diapers, pee pads, and grass pads are a good idea, however its part of being a momma dog! I really and upset about having to rehome her, she is my best friend. I got my dream job but it requires me to be traveling about 75% of the time and i cant take her with me. I love her very much and other than her bladder she is the perfect friend. She can do one flight of stairs in a house just fine but anymore can be to much for her with her age. In the summer she must stay inside otherwise she can overheat (bulldog thing). She is a great friend that just needs to use the bathroom a lot.

If you take too long to let me back in the house, I will let you know with a bark or two but other than that, I'm not one to bark a ton. I do enjoy a nice car ride and also walk quite well on my leash walks. BONUS, you will not have to worry about me chewing or destroying things in your home like those other less refined canines. Foster mom wanted me to let you know that one thing that I despise is when you humans feel the need to humiliate me by wiping my butt. As rare and special as a diamond, is our lovely girl, Jewels. While walking through our kennel, you may see her hiding on her bed with some grumbles to throw your way. If we're being honest, she's very nervous in her cage and doesn't put on her best behavior. We tell everyone, you get that girl out and she is a completely different dog. She adores walks, playgroup, a good toy and hours outside. She is a spunky girl with great energy and would benefit the most from an active family! While being wary with strangers, we think she would do best in a home with older children, preferably 12 and up. Jewels would absolutely love to share her home with another pup though and have a built in playmate! She likes to play rough and she can stand her ground when it comes to the other boys and girls. She has truly made exceptional progress since coming to us a few months ago and we are 99% sure she will make a great, lovey, cuddle companion in a home.
