Hi! I’m Zaida — my name means “to prosper” or “to grow” and that describes my journey perfectly. My life hasn’t always been easy. My original owner passed away, and I suddenly found myself with family who kept me outside all the time. When I came into rescue, I didn’t really know what it meant to live inside a home or be part of a family. But wow… what an amazing new world I’ve discovered! Every day I’m learning and growing. I love my people more than anything in the whole world. I’m a smart girl; I’m both praise & food-motivated, so training with me is truly fun. I’m eager to please, and I just want to make my humans proud. A consistent, confident owner would be best for me as I continue training. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, but my foster mom is working with me on being comfortable in the crate during the day. I'm making great progress! I love to go on walks! I am learning how to be the best girl on a leash. I don’t react to other dogs on walks at all! I haven’t lived with children, but I’ve met several and been fine with them. I get jumpy when I’m excited. A home with older, dog savvy kids would be best for me. This incredibly friendly 4 year old lady is in the market for a loving home and Phoebe has put a request in for something she's never had before. A FENCED IN YARD!! She will win your heart with her sweet silliness, and has even been known to be a superstar at the doggie park with other friendly dogs. She does enjoy her favorite wrestling move which is pinning little dogs (in a very loving way, LOL), so we are asking for a home without small dogs, 30lbs or smaller. She is housetrained, but does stay in a crate when left at home alone, and can use a bit of training on leash walking. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Balboa is a 3-year-old, 40-pound Bulldog mix with a BIG heart and an even bigger desire to be your loyal sidekick. He’s good with dogs and kids but is a firm NO for cats. He’s potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and already knows "sit" and "stay". This sweet boy has faced some tough times, but you’d never know it from the way he loves. Balboa is pure affection — a cuddly house hippo who believes personal space is a myth. If you sit down, he’s in your lap. If you walk somewhere, he’s right behind you. If you stop petting him… he kindly requests that you reconsider. Balboa LOVES car rides — maybe a little too much — and will happily try to climb into any open car door, even if it’s not yours. He’s also very food motivated, likely from past days where meals were hard to come by. Because of that, he’s still working on manners and resisting the urge to do a bit of table surfing. Often called Bobo for short, this adorable blockhead just wants a family who will give him all the love, cuddles, and snacks his heart desires. If you’re looking for a snuggly, loyal, goofy best friend who will always be by your side, Balboa is your guy. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Neo. I am 4 years old and 65 pounds. I am low maintenance and a big baby. My parents were an English Bulldog and the other a Staffordshire terrier. I get along great with children, dogs, and cats. I am housebroken. I don't really enjoy being crated. I would prefer someone that is going to be home often-so only 4 hours alone. Although, I am potty trained and can stay alone for about 9 hours or so. I do have mild epilepsy, which is controlled by Kepra and gabapentin. I have not had an episode, since I have taken these medications together. They are not expensive as well, so that's good. I am allergic to chicken also. I totally vetted with neuter, shots, chip and heart worm test. My positives are, I am a great snuggler. I just want to be your Velcro dog. I don't require a lot of walks, my little legs don't like it much. When I walk/run people say I look so cute. People even drop their jaws when they see me. I didn't have a stable start at life, so can you please help me and give me a loving forever home. I will love you to the moon and back.
