Story
Age: 3 years     Weight: 50 pounds Location: Hamilton, Mercer County, NJ Nicknames: Dee-Dee, Dee-dah-Dee Good with other dogs?: Yes. Dee-Dee is currently living in a foster home with another dog. There have not been any issues between them, they are fine to eat and sleep in the same room and have never had any arguments over toys or chewy bones. Her foster brother is an English Bulldog who is just about the same size as her but several years older. Good with cats? other: Dee would most likely need training to not chase a cat, she runs after anything in the yard that moves. Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day., Needs in-house activities IQ: Smart Doris's favorite things: Dee-Dee is very curious and likes her walks so she can see what everyone in her neighborhood is doing. She does not play with toys much and does not chase balls. She does enjoy a good chewy bone and would love to have a dog friend to play with. Doris is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, going for car rides, walking on a leash, cuddling Ideal home: another dog, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: needs obedience training Health issues: None Meet Doris Dee-Dee is a shy girl but once she warms up she is a champion cuddlebug! She is content to curl up on the couch with you but will also need an appropriate outlet for her occasional bouts of zoomies. She walks very nicely on her leash, and while she enjoys a casual pace walk when the weather is hot she can also keep up with you on a powerwalk on the cooler days. She really just wants to be where you are. She is super sweet and very quiet.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Meet Margo! Breed: Bulldog Mix DOB: 06/03/2023 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 42 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Margo: • Rescued from Mississippi — found in a ditch and brought to safety, and she has never looked back!• Takes time to warm up to new people and dogs, but within 24 hours she's asking for attention and playing like she owns the place• Super sweet, hilarious, and full of personality — Margo is the kind of dog who will have you laughing every single day• Playful and fun-loving with a goofy charm that is totally irresistible• A slow feeder bowl is recommended — this girl loves her meals and does not believe in taking her time • Crate trained — may fuss for a minute at bedtime (the fun must go on!), but settles within 2 minutes and actually chooses her crate for naps throughout the day• Housebroken — picked up the routine quickly and does well with frequent potty breaks• Dog friendly — does best with calm, respectful introductions and prefers dogs that give her a little space to say hello on her own terms• Cat friendly• Looking for a loving and committed forever home to provide her with the care and love she deserves Learn more and apply to adopt at http://TLCrescuePA.org/adopt Interested in fostering? Story
Meet Jerome: Professional Attention Hog. Amateur Actual Hog?Have you ever wished for a dog that believed personal space was a government conspiracy? Meet Jerome.Jerome casts a big wake. He is going to be the center of attention and biggest personality in any room he waddles into. He is propelled by three things: affection, snacks, and an overwhelming need to know what you're doing at all times. Going to the kitchen? Jerome's coming. Walking to the mailbox? Jerome's on the case. Sitting on the couch? Excellent. That's exactly where he was hoping you'd be because his favorite hobby is receiving attention until the sun burns out. When he's not campaigning for pets, Jerome can usually be found conducting extremely important investigations around the yard. Every leaf, stick, blade of grass, and mysterious smell must be thoroughly inspected. Science depends on it.After a hard day of detective work, Jerome transforms into the quintessential bulldog creature. He'll snooze like it's a Hollywood event, snack like he's preparing for hibernation, and produce enough slobber to keep the paper towel industry in business.Oh - and he snores. Oftentimes while he's awake. We don't really understand it either. Jerome isn't here to win obedience competitions or solve complex equations. He's here to make you laugh, invade your personal bubble, and convince you that your lap is much larger than it actually is.If you're looking for a goofy, affectionate little house goblin with the charm of a furry cannonball with legs, Jerome is standing by...probably staring at you...waiting for pets...snorting and grunting. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 48.5 Age: 1yrs 0mths 2wks
