PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/24/24 Still available! 2/4/24 *Bonded pair*.  Shortbread (brindle) and Poundcake (brown) are absolutely precious! These little girls are 4 months old. They were surrendered to our rescue by the breeder because they both have Spina Bifida. They have no mobility issues at all- the only symptom is that they are both bladder and bowel incontinent. They will always have to wear diapers. The upside is that you don't have to worry about house training them! These are probably the easiest pups I've ever had. They don't get into things, not big chewers, easy to correct, and they love to snuggle, but if you can't snuggle, they will find a soft spot to snuggle with each other or play together. They are just as sweet as can be, and you have to admit, they are incredibly cute in their little diapers and suspenders! Even though they are still just babies, they are old souls. Despite the diapers, they are very easy to care for. We have them sleep in a crate together, without their diapers, on a grid, so their pee/poop goes under them, and they aren't sitting in it. In the mornings, they eat in their crate, then about 30 min after eating, I put their diapers on them and they come out for the day. I usually only change them one time throughout the day. Then, at night, I remove their diapers and put them back in their crates to eat dinner, and they are perfectly content to go to bed and rest for the remainder of the night. They love to go outside on nice days and explore the yard, but it should be noted that as English Bulldogs, they should never be allowed to stay outside on warm days due to their increased risk for heat stroke. They love being picked up and held or just talked to. They are very affectionate, but not at all demanding. They must be adopted together and stay together. Before applying, please think about whether you will want to deal with diapers on 2 dogs for the next 10+ years. While they are very easy, it is still a major commitment, and I don't want them to ever be separated or booted outside due to their adopter getting frustrated. So please put a lot of thought into whether you are ready for that kind of commitment. They are not free, nor will they be a deeply discounted adoption. Even though they have Spina Bifida, they are still wonderful, and I want them to go to someone who knows their worth and will love them, diapers and all. They are special to me and can stay here with me for however long it takes to find them the perfect home. Please private message for info on the adoption fee. They are up to date on vaccinations and I have had them spayed and microchipped.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Story
Woof! Well, hello there! I'm Waddles, a seasoned lady with a heart as big as my jowls. Let me give you a glimpse into my world from my perspective:I'm what you might call a mature bulldog, having lived a life full of experiences. While my past might include some breeding days, I'm ready to leave that behind and embark on a new chapter of love and companionship. I may not be as sprightly as I once was, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to retire to the sidelines just yet! I still enjoy leisurely strolls around the block, where I can take in all the sights, sounds, and smells. And let's not forget about nap time - it's one of my favorite hobbies! I've got a calm and gentle demeanor that's perfect for cozy cuddle sessions on the couch. I'm a great listener, too, so feel free to pour your heart out to me - your secrets are safe with this wrinkly face!I'm seeking a forever home where I can finally kick back and relax in the comfort of a loving family. I've done my fair share of hard work in the past, and now I'm ready to be pampered and spoiled like the queen I am. I'd thrive in a calm environment with people who appreciate the wisdom that comes with age. I would also do best without and small kids (under 15). Special Needs: Bella is currently overweight and will need an adopter who is committed to helping her achieve a healthy weight through proper diet and exercise. She may also require patience and understanding as she adjusts to life outside of breeding. She will be happier as an only dog and getting all the attention from her new family. If you're interested in giving Waddles the loving home she deserves, please fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch with you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fill out an Adoption Application Is your shadow letting you down? Is it proving to be just a fair weather friend? Are you looking for a new shadow? Well look no further! Meet Miss Bea, aka Meatball. She will happily take the place of your shadow (even on those rainy, gloomy days). She’ll never let you down! Likes: Miss Bea loves food, her people and belly and rump rubs. Pretty much any attention you give Miss Bea, she eats right up. Dislikes: According to Miss Bea, all vacuum cleaners need to die. Otherwise, Miss Bea complains about nothing. She has yet to meet a stranger (well, maybe the vet is just a teensy bit suspicious). Personality: Miss Bea is all wiggles and kisses. Temperament: Happy, happy, happy! Miss Bea is fine with brushing, though she can be wiggly happy during her spa sessions. She is also fine with having her nails done. Energy level: Even with her confirmation issues, Miss Bea is one energetic young lady…if only all that energy could be harnessed, dogs like Miss Bea could very well be the answer to the energy crisis! Favorite activities: Being with her people; eating; sleeping; snoring; chewing safe bones; stuffed and squeaky toys will be met with a swift death. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Miss Bea has a high prey drive and, therefore, would not do well with cats or other small, non-canine critters. She has not yet been tested around young children, however, due to her enthusiasm and mouthiness, she would probably do best with teenagers.  Miss Bea does quite well with other dogs both male and female, big and small. However, she can initially come on a bit strong (think freight train). She would do best in a home with another dog that can keep up with her exuberance. Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) - Cats and other small critters (she thought the chickens would make for fun, chaseable, squeaky toys). Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Yes. Bribe her with a piece of cheese and she will go right in and settle down quickly. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Yes Walks well on a leash? Miss Bea pulls a little but listens well and is very eager to please. Challenges: Dyson vacuums have nothing on Miss Bea! She will need a slow feeder bowl (the slower the better). Miss Bea is working on her mouthiness; taking treats gently; sharing toys; leash manners and jumping up. Any Medical issues? Miss Bea will be having an ortho consult to address her confirmation issues (which don’t slow her down or seem to affect her running and playing). She is currently receiving a daily Cosequin pill to help her joints stay as healthy as possible.  What would be the best kind of home? One with another doggie friend that matches her energy to play and cuddle with. Though she does well in her crate, someone who works from home would be an added bonus as Miss Bea adores her people. Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include, but are not limited to: pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Our rescue policy requires the following: Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt a giant breed dog to homes where the dog will have access to highly varnished hardwood steps inside the home. We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. Methods or devices using pain or force on the dog to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior is prohibited. Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Veterinary records will be checked. All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home. Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being considered, before any adoption can be completed. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption. Exceptions to this policy can be found on the Adoptable Dog Page.
