Hi, I'm Arnold! Don't be alarmed by size, it's just more to shower with affection. I'm a handsome fella looking to find a family that will have the same playful energy as me. I would be down to take long walks, hikes and have lots of play time! All children in the home would have to be 3+ as I can be fairly rambunctious when being handled. I may do well with cats with proper introduction as I can come on strong. I can play with other dogs of similar energy but I cannot live with one since I want to be the center of attention. Hello there - My name is Payton, or Payton Marie as my foster mom calls me. She says I needed a middle name since I like to get into a little mischief, although I have no idea what she is talking about. I am a 2-3 year old English Bulldog and spent the first few years of life having babies, but I have put that behind me now. I am enjoying spending time at my foster home and love to go for walks, chew on bones, explore the yard and sleep but mostly I like to EAT! I didn't get much food where I was living previously so I'm working on bulking up, I am currently about 30 lbs of energy. I can be shy when first meeting new people, but don't worry it doesn't take me long to warm up. I am currently living with my sister bulldog and a few other foster dogs of different breeds. I very much enjoy my bulldog sister but am a bit more picky with my other foster sisters. I would be willing to meet other dogs and give them a chance at becoming my friend. My foster mom says I am a typical "Bull"dog because I like to use my head to try to "bull" my way thru any obstacle, but really I'm just having fun. When I am not eating or chewing on my bones I mostly enjoy a few long naps during the day. I do sleep in a crate at night and I don't mind that at all. I also do very well with going to the bathroom outside, however it may take me some time to get used to a new environment. I am UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed and ready to look for my furever home. I have met a few kids and have no issues with them at all. ***Please note: Macy is not a candidate for living in an apartment and no applications from anyone living in an apartment will be considered for her.*** Macy is a sweet, smart, energetic party girl who is ready for adventure! She wants to be a good girl so bad and picks up on things quite fast as long as you give her a chance to get the wiggles out but she needs a family that understands that she is still a work in progress. This girl is a lot of dog! She is very strong and doesn't fully understand that she isn't a small dog. When she crashes into you, you feel it and given the chance she will crash into you a lot, but if you are rough and tumble enough, and patient enough, you will see her for the doofy puppy she really is. Macy needs a family that is up for the challenge of a dog with a lot of brains but not a lot of self control. We STRONGLY recommend her new family get involved with training for her so that everyone has the best chance of success. Macy will need a home with people who are active and will work with her to expend her energy, that have larger dog experience, and are willing to see the potential she has even when she is being a silly teenager. We do NOT think a home with young children would be a good fit for her because both her size and energy level could be scary and dangerous. Macy was found as a stray in a different county and while she was at the shelter there she did meet two other dogs and those meetings went pretty well. Just like with small children due to her size and energy level she would not be a good fit for homes with small dogs. We do not know how she would be with cats or other animals. If you are looking for a sweet, smushy faced, girl with a lot of potential, tons of energy and just as much love Macy is the gal for you. Macy is around 1 yr old as of 04/19/21 If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to set up an appointment. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately. Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen for me so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues that could hurt me. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered. The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Meet Courtney! Courtney is a 10 year old spayed female English Bulldog/American Bulldog mix who weighs 59 lbs. Courtney came to All 4 Paws in retirement after spending her life having puppies at a commercial kennel. This gal wasted no time getting comfortable with her life as a beloved pet in her foster home! She absolutely adores people and the attention they give her. She will flop over willingly for belly rubs, her big tongue flopping out of the side of her mouth in happiness. Courtney is doing great with her training and seems to be house and crate trained. She loves going for walks around the neighborhood and will wag her tail the entire time. Courtney enjoys car rides too and sits nicely throughout the trip. Her silly personality and expressive features keep her foster family laughing every day. She is sharing her foster home with other dogs and has lived with others in the past, and prefers companions who are on the chill side. Courtney would do best in a home with some experience with bully breeds, though she isn't as stubborn as most are. Courtney's markings are absolutely STUNNING - she turns heads wherever she goes! Lucky Charms is a 7 year old spayed female American Bulldog/English Bulldog mix who weighs 73 lbs. Lucky Charms came to All 4 Paws from a commercial kennel after she was retired from breeding. This former mama is as sweet as pie and ready to find her forever family! Lovingly nicknamed "LC" by her foster family, Lucky Charms has made herself at home. She loves people and the attention they give her, soaking in all of the kindness she is offered. When she first arrived at All 4 Paws she was in rough shape medically. She needed a toe amputated due to an old injury, and had skin issues. Nothing has gotten this girl down, though! LC is a happy-go-lucky hippo who adores her people and spending time with them. She is low energy and doesn't require a lot of exercise. She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard that she can lounge around in. She has done great with other dogs who are tolerant of big happy dogs in their faces... personal space is not a thing she understands. LC doesn't have a mean bone in her body and just wants to enjoy every little thing she encounters. She is doing great with her training and seems eager to please. It has been a joy watching this love muffin thrive in her new life!
