Buddy was found and a good Samaritan is fostering him for us. He is about two years old. He has such a wonderful, friendly personality. He's clearly been an indoor dog, as he's very comfortable and affectionate.. Regarding other dogs, he's actually fantastic with her five dogs. Buddy is amazing at reading other dogs, and gives the foster's older dog the space that she needs. As for kids, the foster doesn't have any, however; given how gentle and loving he is with everyone he meets, we truly believe he'd be absolutely wonderful with children. He just seems to adore people! of all kinds and sizes! He's already really good with kennel training, which is a huge bonus! He is kennel and potty trained as well. Tater has been doing very well in his foster home since being returned to our care after four years. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gotten to know him again, and one thing is clear—he is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. Tater is well-behaved, quiet, and laid-back. He was returned because he began guarding his adopters from the other dog in the home, whom he had lived with since puppyhood. We offered to send a trainer, but after learning they had moved to Ohio, it became clear that long-distance support wouldn’t be an option. Given how long this behavior has gone unaddressed, we believe Tater would do best as an only dog. That said, Tater enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to other dogs. He loves people, including children, and is both house trained and crate trained. Tater is a 4 1/2 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix.
