Meet Mike Wazowski, AKA Mikey! He is a French bulldog who is just under 4 months old. He has the cutest puppy personality, he is brave, playful, funny, cuddly, smart, stubborn like typical bully, loves everyone and is super friendly! IMPORTANT: We are looking for an experienced dog owner who has experience with this breed or similar smooshy-faced breeds. You must be able to pass a vet reference on current or previous pets showing they were spayed/neutered, kept up with vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and followed the medical advice of the veterinarian. Good stuff: he is very comfortable with other pets (dogs and cats), can listen to cues from other animals if they are warning him (mostly), enjoys other animals as much as people, likes rough play like tug of war, loves toys but not destructive to them (yet), hesitates to leap off things, so he's smart enough to know that's a bad idea, does really well in his play yard area/kennel and settles in without issue The warnings: he can't handle the heat and he is not potty trained yet. With this major heat, it’s not always safe for him to go outside because of his breed, so potty training hasn’t been consistent but, because he is super great motivated he has learned to use potty pads. Now that we are finally starting to cool off more, he is getting better about going outside more! He has a lot of trouble breathing in any heat, after playing, and SNORES. His adopter needs to be ready for that to be a future concern, just like all the short-nosed breeds tend to have. Mikey has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He also had a birth defect causing one eye not to develop properly. During his neuter appointment that eye was surgically removed. He has recovered beautifully from this and is loving life more than ever now! Story
Biscuit is a 3 year old female French bulldog, she came to us in May. She was bought to breed and not taken care of. We have addressed all of her medical issues and she has been spayed. She is a full energy girl and plays hard, she does great with other Frenchies but not so well with other dogs. We absolutely adore her but she doesn’t get along with our other 2 English Bulldogs. She is crate trained, house trained, travels well, she is a cuddle bug and needs a home where she can be the main focus, she truly deserves it after the first few years of her life were spent alone in a crate. She has some issues with resource guarding, all the toys are hers no matter how many we have. She has been genetically tested and has a clean bill of health, aside from grass allergies. Please only serious inquiries, French bulldogs require a lot of work, they are sensitive, heat intolerant, and snorting, snoring wonders. I’m Frick — a 4‑year‑old Frenchie/English Bulldog mix weighing in at a perfect 43 pounds of soft, snuggly goodness. I’m a calm, quiet little gentleman who barely makes a peep… unless I’m asleep, in which case I snore like a tiny, cozy bulldozer dreaming its best dreams. My favorite thing in the world is being close to my humans. I follow you everywhere, lean in for hugs, melt under ear rubs, and absolutely adore top‑of‑the‑head kisses. If you sit down, I will gently drape myself over you like a warm, living weighted blanket. It’s my calling. Toys? I’m intrigued, but also confused. I stare at them like they’re trying to tell me a secret. Food, however, now that I understand. I’m very food motivated and have perfected the art of the “sweetest boy” eyes to earn an extra nibble. I’m still working on my training including house training but making progress.  I’m leash trained and very gentle. I get along well with other dogs, though bigger dogs make me nervous because I was picked on before. I’m happiest with kind, friendly pups or just hanging out with my humans. Car rides aren’t my favorite, but lounging in the yard? That’s my happy place. I love feeling the breeze, sniffing the world, and just being a peaceful little potato. Story
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who would happily follow you from room to room, settle in beside you on the sofa, and never turn down a snack, Samwise may be your guy. 3 year old Samwise is a sweet, affectionate bulldog who absolutely loves people. He seeks out attention from just about everyone he meets and is happiest when he’s close to his humans. He’s also dog and kid friendly! With other dogs, Samwise enjoys some light play, but he’s just as happy simply hanging out in their company. He hasn’t met any cats yet, but we haven’t seen anything that raises concerns. IMPORTANT: We are looking for an experienced dog owner who has experience with this breed or similar smooshy-faced breeds. You must be able to pass a vet reference on current or previous pets showing they were spayed/neutered, kept up with vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and followed the medical advice of the veterinarian. Samwise has never met a treat he didn’t like. Seriously. Snacks are one of his love languages. He also enjoys toys, although he has his own unique approach to playtime: he prefers to carry them around and then carefully build a little toy collection in his kennel. Samwise enjoys a little time soaking up the sunshine. And by “a little,” we mean very little. He’s a bulldog, after all. A few minutes of sunbathing is plenty before he’s ready to head back inside. Samwise is kennel trained and potty trained, and like many bulldogs, he does have some daily maintenance to keep him feeling his best. He needs daily eye drops and regular cleaning and drying of his face and neck folds. It’s a small part of the routine that helps this handsome guy stay comfortable and healthy. He does experience interdigital cyst on his paws that come and go, this is also very common for his breed. These have been well managed with cortisone cream. Although Samwise is just the cutest little (44 pounds) bulldog you’ve ever seen, we are hoping to find an adopter who has some experience with his breed.
