Ellie: •Bulldog/Pit Bull mix •1 year old •45lbs •Spayed female •Crate and potty trained •Good with other dogs Ellie is a sweet, spunky, active 1 year old Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who loves playing, going on adventures, and doing anything that involves moving around! She has boundless energy and can be a little firecracker of a dog sometimes! She only weighs about 45lbs and won't get any bigger, but she still packs a whole lot of spunk in her compact body. Ellie was turned in as a stray to our local high kill shelter with scrapes and missing fur all over. We don't know what happened to her to cause this, but there is no telling as the streets of Houston are unforgiving, to say the least. Being the energetic puppy she is, she landed on the euthanasia list for exhibiting normal puppy energy, which is always brought out more from being cooped up in a small kennel for hours on end. We saw her potential and just had to rescue her. Ellie is the sweetest girl but she is not for the faint of heart! Ellie has lots of unfiltered puppy spunk and will need some training and guidance in order to become an upstanding member of society (especially in public spaces, as most puppies and adolescent dogs struggle with this!). Due to her incredible amount of energy and lack of training in her early puppyhood, Ellie does need some work on how to walk on a leash without turning a "walk" into more of a "drag." She has your typical Bulldog stubbornness but can be tempted to listen with the prospect of treats! Ellie loves hanging out and bonding with her people, and she is a great cuddle buddy once she's in the mood for it! She is a very affectionate girl and is always happy to receive any attention that comes her way! Ellie does get along with other dogs, but she seems to do best with dogs who match her level of spunk and have a similar personality to her. Introductions to other dogs are best done slowly with her, as she is still learning about boundaries and manners with other dogs. She would love to be the only dog in her new home so she can hog all the attention, but she wouldn't mind having a canine companion around either! Ellie is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Lola is an adorable bulldog mix currently staying in a short term foster home. Lola's foster describes her a high energy lovable pup full of personality. Lola loves to run around and play the day away to her hearts content, but she also knows when to calm down. Lola is potty trained, dog friendly, and kid friendly. She absolutely ADORES belly rubs and is sure to greet her fosters each day by flopping over for some love. Everyone who meets Lola immediately falls in love with her charm. She's super outgoing and quick to make friends. It's hard not to melt at her adorable smile and happy tail wags. Lola has been in our care for over a year now and we're hoping that charm of hers will help land her the home of her dreams.

Daisy is an amazing old English Bulldog - full of personality! She is great with dogs of all sizes, ignores cats completely, loves car rides and adventures, good on a leash and most importantly, ADORES all comfortable sofas and blankets. Daisy is relatively low energy and occasionally has short bursts of play time followed by more extensive naps. Due to the Texas heat, her time outside is limited for her own safety. She is doing well on housetraining when kept to a schedule and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night. Daisy is fully vetted, spayed, recovered from cherry eye surgery and ready for a family of her own. She is a courtesy post with SNARR Northeast.
