If you are looking for a handsome, smart, sweet, dog and people friendly sweetheart, then you might just be looking for Biscuit! He's a 50 pound, one year old, red and cream fluffy beauty!   Biscuit's forever home needs a fenced yard and another playful dog as well as an adopter home more than not. A working from home parent who enjoys walking their pup is ideal.   To meet Biscuit in person submit our online application at www.DSDA.org/adopt.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1939723##

I’m Amy Pawmer. I ventured into comedy when I was about eight weeks old. I have accomplished many talents for my young age, but being funny is my favorite thing to do. If you are looking for a puppy who is both funny and sweet, then I’m your girl! I'm looking for a forever home with someone who has plenty of time for me. I am gonna need plenty of toys to chew on so I am not chewing on other things that I am not supposed to chew on. I am a puppy after all! I love to play outside with dogs of all sizes at my foster home and of course with my litter mates. I sleep overnight in my crate and will let you know around 6-6:30 a.m. that it is time for me to go outside. I am not completely house trained yet, but am working on it. I have already learned how to use the doggie door. My mom - Lilly Momlin - is a mini Aussie, about 20 pounds. However, I will be a little larger than her and likely to be a medium sized dog when I grow up. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
