Dahlia is a loving, loyal, and very goofy girl. She is always down to play with her favorite toys, a racquet ball or tennis ball, squeaky stuffed animals or a cardboard box, she just loves to play with you. She also loves to run so a yard is a must. At night after a long walk, she loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep until it’s time for bed. Dahlia was adopted July 2022 and was a little over a year old, so i think her birthday is about June 2021. She is anxious around other dogs so would need to be the only one in the house, but I think with time and training, it’s fixable. She was attacked so she is skeptical of unfamiliar dogs. She has never been around a cat so i’m not sure how she would react around them. As for children, smaller children make her nervous since they’re so close to her face and she can get a little over excited and jumpy so it’s best to have older kids in a house. Dahlia now knows sit, down, stay(sometimes), still learning “come” but she loves learning. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Bruno is very sweet but also very rambunctious. He turned a year old in December so he is full grown but still very puppy like . Unfortunately I work long hours and that is not fair for him. He requires more time and attention than I can give him and my yard isn’t large enough to accommodate him. He’s very smart and good with other dogs and kids. He loves the dog park, walks well on the leash and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He would do best with a large yard and with an active family who is around to keep up with him.

Dash has had one owner since he was adopted from Operation Kindness in 2019 at the age of 3 months. His birthday is April 23rd, and he is 5 years old this year. He's been the best boy until he developed the need to be protective. He's a lovable lap dog when he is comfortable. He doesn't like when strangers come to the house, or when other dogs get too close to my other dog. He has been around young children and been gentle but is not around them often. He's lived with a cat before but separated. Dash loves frisbees and tug of war, he loves running, and he loves back scratches.

Johnny and June/brother and sister pair. My wife took these dogs in from her sister who rescued them before we got married. We have been married for almost five years now. With an increasingly busy schedule, it is now time to find a new home for these dogs. I am not charging a fee because we are not trying to make any money; just rehoming. Johnny and June (about 60-70 pounds each) are good dogs and love to be outside. We believe Johnny is a mixed Heeler/Lab and June is a Black Lab. You can call with any other questions if you'd like.
