If you are looking for a handsome, smart, sweet, dog and people friendly sweetheart, then you might just be looking for Biscuit! He's a 50 pound, one year old, red and cream fluffy beauty!   Biscuit's forever home needs a fenced yard and another playful dog as well as an adopter home more than not. A working from home parent who enjoys walking their pup is ideal.   To meet Biscuit in person submit our online application at www.DSDA.org/adopt.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1939723##

With a sad heart we are having to rehome our dog, Jax. We took him in when a family member passed. Jax was special to our family and we didn’t want to see him go to a shelter. We have expanded our family and he is not fond of being around children. Our home is not a good fit for him anymore. We want him to be happy, not uncomfortable and anxious. Jax is a fantastic, loyal and sweet dog. He has been trained and knows many commands. He’s very smart and listens well. He’d be great at working outside on a farm, he lives hoping in the truck and riding around with you. But he’d also love a big yard or land and a loving parent to run around with him. He is 8 years old.

Sammy is an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 69 pounds. He was found running on a highway and was scared to death. A lovely couple picked him up and had his shots done. Sammy is neutered and would do better with a family with no children. He loves to play with other dogs and has lots of energy to run and play. He is a great medium sized dog and has a gorgeous coat and beautiful eyes. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. If you would like to visit Sammy, please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE (not petfinder.com) at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost.
