Hi I'm Benito! I'm a very sweet, good boy estimated at about a year old and weighing around 45 lbs. I endured a painful past in my short life. I was found lying in a field after being attacked by other animals and needed emergency surgery to piece my ear back together. That is all behind me now and I'm a happy, playful boy now! I am friendly with dogs and people at the rescue and quickly became a volunteer and staff favorite! My one lingering issue is that I tested heartworm-positive and am currently undergoing treatment using the "slow kill" method, which will have to be continued by my adopters by administering oral meds. My rescue will cover the expenses for those medications and retesting until I test negative, which will happen in due time.My $250 adoption fee includes all of the care I needed to get healthy as well as vet exam, up to date vaccines, neuter, deworming, heartworm meds until negative test result and microchip. My adoption fee has been Fully Sponsored! Hi I'm Ghandi! I'm estimated at around 3 years old and am a very good boy. I was found fending for myself deep in a remote area - thankfully, a Good Samaritan brought me to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue, where I received all of the medical and general care I needed. I last weighed in at 71, and my rescue believes I'm an American Bulldog mix. I've been very well-behaved and friendly with other dogs and humans at the rescue, and I'm so excited to find a home that will take good care of me and love me. Hi I'm Sully! I'm 2 years old as of end of October and a very good boy. I was surrendered by my owner who could no longer keep me. Way back in late 2023, my mama landed in the county shelter with me and my 5 siblings when we were just nursing babies. Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us in and provided the medical and general care we needed to get strong and healthy for our forever homes. I was adopted and had a nice home for a long time, but they could no longer keep me so I came back to the rescue. I'm house trained and have been good will all of the dogs and volunteers at the rescue. I appear to be a bulldog/bully mix. I'm here now with my old friends, but long for a forever family to go home with. My $100 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, microchip, deworming, neuter and heartworm test (negative), all already done.
