I came to the shelter years ago after being found as a stray by Minneapolis Animal Control – and somehow never left. The kind folks here never gave up on me. They’ve shown me patience, safety, and love. Even so, I dream of something more. I still believe there is someone out there who will see past my age and notice all the love I still have to give. Do you have space in your heart and home for an active senior like me? Meet Willow, our wise and wiggly senior sweetheart! At her age (which she’d prefer we didn’t mention), thank you very much, Willow knows what she wants – a peaceful home, a couple daily strolls, and treats delivered promptly, please. Willow is excited to meet new folks, however she is slow to warm. She’s got a “trust, but verify” policy – and verification takes time. But stick around with treats and patience, and you’ll be her knew favorite person before you know it. She asks for a home without kids or cats, because frankly, she’s earned the right to a little peace and quiet. She still has plenty of pep in her step and wants to explore the world with you – as long as the world includes car rides to Dairy Queen!So, if you’re a patient, kind human with a soft spot for senior sass and a heart of gold, Willow just might be your perfect match. Willow doesn’t need much – just a soft bed and a person to finally call her own. Willow deserves to know what love beyond the shelter feels like. Maybe, today’s that day!

Chip is a medium-sized dog who has a calmer energy level and is dog friendly without being overwhelming. Chip is also a good listener, and he responds well to positive reinforcement training techniques. I tend to keep my circle small until I know you’re the real deal. Earn my trust (and bring treats and a Chuckit ball), and you’ll see I’m all in.Meet Gus – Our drop-dead gorgeous ball enthusiast. He was picked up by St. Paul Animal Control, and his owner was never found. Let’s be real, Gus isn’t a “jump-into-your-arms” kind of guy. He’s more of a slow but steady trust building kind of guy. But give him time, some patience, and a ball (yeah, it’s kind of a big deal), and you’ll unlock a whole new level of loyal.
