Didn't trust the people who were trying to help her because people are who hurt her and neglected her ;( Smarty's foster mom and savior says, "It's hard to post and talk about her without tearing up because I'm just in such awww of how far she has come. A whole village stepped up to get her here and I want to thank them all." She found her HERO and now is ready for the family who will love her for WHO SHE IS FOREVER!! She will require long term allergy meds and a prescription diet plus a special adopter who is willing to work with a RESCUED dog. Patience is a must for a dog who we don't know where she came from and don't know what she went through.
