Story
Pauletta was confiscated by Memphis Animal Services from her owners and they were charged with animal cruelty and neglect. Her ears bear the scars of being chained up somewhere with flies feasting on her ears. Bless her sweet heart! Her past has not scarred her beautiful sweet nature. Pauletta is so happy to be living in a cool and comfortable foster home. She is a sweet heart of a dog. She is gentle, responds well to commands, is leash trained, house trained and crate trained. She cannot help herself when she sees a cat, she wants to chase. She gets along with friendly male dogs. She is very gentle in her interactions with children. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please complete the adoption questionnaire on our website www.heartsofgoldpitrescue.com. (Female, crate trained, house trained, never meets a stranger, can engage with well-mannered male dogs while supervised, no female dogs please.)

Story
A lady in the neighborhood approached me and said there was this puppy with white fur and he's turning all pink laying in the bushes next to her home. When I got the time to go look for him I was lucky because he was walking down the middle of the road. I pulled up next to him but it started raining harder I turned around and followed him slowly because it looked like he knew where he was going. He went up to a house around the corner and up the back steps wagging his tail I was happy because he had a place to stay. After talking to the people they stated he was a stray that just started hanging around. He was already suffering from Demodex mange and they wanted to try and keep him. So I brought them some food a couple of weeks later and offered meds to the dog because he was not improving and they could not find the money. I talked them into letting take him. Pride is the sweetest puppy so easy going and loving. He has been to the vet and is healing find. He knows basic commands is house broken and crate trained. He walks easy on the leash with no pulling. He's a very quiet dog until one of the cats or other dogs gets in front of his crate. “ Update; He is the sweetest dog you would ever want to own Quiet and clean in his crate, trained to do tricks for treats, walks well on a leash and plays well with other dogs. Dog Park Friendly!

Fostering in Tennessee Here's the link to our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 This sweet little guy is Parker. He was found as a stray in Memphis and is not on the hunt for his forever home. Parker loves everyone he meets and just wants someone to love him back. He enjoys treats and lots of pets from his person. Parker is fostering with other dogs and seems to be okay with most. He can a bit of a pest with some dogs and get on their nerves so an easy going dog would probably be better. Parker is crate trained, trained and has pretty good manners.
