Story
We adopted Lily six years ago from a rescue, already an adult, so her exact age is unknown. She’s a sweet, affectionate dog who loves attention and being petted. Mealtimes are her favorite part of the day (twice daily), and she’ll make sure you don’t forget. Lily enjoys playing tug with her toys and is impressively well-behaved—she sticks to her toys and doesn’t chew on anything else. She’s a loyal companion who wants to be by your side and generally gets along well with people, though she has a strong dislike for our housekeeper and needs to be kenneled during those visits. Thunderstorms scare her, and she’ll seek comfort close to you; on rare occasions, she’s had accidents indoors during storms. While she’s excited about walks, her hips limit her to short distances—about one block—though she doesn’t require pain medication. She does take daily seizure medication, which costs around $20 per month. If wanted Lily can bring her food bowl and more equippment.

Story
Minka has had an interesting, and sometimes difficult life. She came into our group after having raised puppies on her own. It appears she had never been a pet before but she loved attention. She has gone from a pup who wigged out at the idea of being in a car or house to one who gets excited when she sees you get out the leash and, loves car rides, is house trained, and can be left loose in the house while you're gone. She doesn't always play well with others so we recommend having her as an only pet. She is so affectionate and loves her people!!

Story
Tanner is a super sweet boy who smiles a lot! He has dimples and a wrinkled nose when he smiles (not in pics because he is to wiggly when smiling to take a picture!). He is about a year old and eager to please and will do almost anything for a treat. He was attacked by another dog recently and is healing up well and will be ready for his forever very soon. He would probably be best as an only pet. He loves people but can be a little jealous and does not like to share his people with others sometimes. He was previously an outside dog but is adapting really well to being inside and LOVES being on the couch with you. He hasn't has a single accident in his crate and understands to go outside to potty. He likes to jump up and hug so would be best with older kids but we are working on this.

He takes his fandom seriously… and his friendships even more so. Apollo comes fully loaded with life skills: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Potty trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Crate trained (but totally trustworthy free-roaming, too!) &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Knows his basics: sit, down, stay, and an impressive double-paw shake that he’s very proud of. He’s a well-rounded dude — part athlete, part lounge king:  Zoomies in the yard? MVP material.  Fetch champion? Absolutely.  Leash-ready walking buddy? Apollo loves hanging out on the tanning ledge, embracing that sunshine (or even the not-so-sunshine) like the resort guest he believes he is — no matter the weather. Apollo gets along well with other dogs, especially ones who match his personality. But honestly? Being someone’s one-and-only BFF also sounds pretty perfect to him. He loves all people, though he considers it his personal duty to notify you when Amazon is delivering his toys. (A working man has responsibilities!) Now all he needs is his person — his teammate for life, his couch buddy, his poolside partner, his fellow Cowboys fan… or at least someone willing to let him think they are.
