Introducing Chubby, the energetic and lovable English Bulldog in search of his forever home! Hello there! I'm Chubby, an English Bulldog with a zest for life and a heart full of love. I'm on the lookout for experienced adopters who understand my breed and can provide me with the care and attention I need to thrive. At 5 and a half years old, I'm still bursting with energy and always ready for an adventure. Going for walks, running around in a secure yard, and playing with other dogs are some of my absolute favorite activities. I'm a social butterfly and enjoy the company of my furry friends, regardless of their size. While I haven't had the chance to be around cats, I'm open to new experiences and introductions. With a proper and gradual introduction, I may be able to get along with feline friends too. I'm a well-mannered pup when it comes to being housebroken and crate trained. I know how to take care of my business outside and can comfortably spend time in my crate when needed. However, I must admit that I have a soft spot for cozy beds and couches. Snuggling up with my humans is one of my favorite pastimes. It's important to note that I would do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect my needs and boundaries. While I'm generally friendly and good-natured, interactions with young children should always be supervised to ensure everyone's safety and comfort. Loud noises and thunderstorms tend to make me a little nervous, so having a calm and understanding environment during those times would be greatly appreciated. A gentle and reassuring presence can go a long way in helping me feel safe and secure. Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. You must fill out all of the blanks in the application - put "n/a" if one question is not applicable to you.

I am a fun loving, goofy girl. I'm so happy, I wiggle when I walk! My last person didn't want me anymore and now I crave that special person who will love me as much as I love them. My biggest pleasure in life is to make you happy and laugh. I might look like a stiff wind is hitting me from the side, but it only adds to my silly, quirky personality. I haven't met a person yet that I don't like. In fact, I LOVE everybody. I'm great at cuddles too and I'm so good at being calm and respectful, just give me a few minutes to get over my eagerness to meet you. I work really hard at greeting you with a sit, but sometimes I'm so HAPPY to meet you I might forget my manners and jump, but I quickly stop when you remind me.
