Hello there! I'm Chubby, an English Bulldog with a zest for life and a heart full of love. I'm on the lookout for experienced adopters who understand my breed and can provide me with the care and attention I need to thrive.
At 5 and a half years old, I'm still bursting with energy and always ready for an adventure. Going for walks, running around in a secure yard, and playing with other dogs are some of my absolute favorite activities. I'm a social butterfly and enjoy the company of my furry friends, regardless of their size.
While I haven't had the chance to be around cats, I'm open to new experiences and introductions. With a proper and gradual introduction, I may be able to get along with feline friends too.
I'm a well-mannered pup when it comes to being housebroken and crate trained. I know how to take care of my business outside and can comfortably spend time in my crate when needed. However, I must admit that I have a soft spot for cozy beds and couches. Snuggling up with my humans is one of my favorite pastimes.
It's important to note that I would do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect my needs and boundaries. While I'm generally friendly and good-natured, interactions with young children should always be supervised to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
Loud noises and thunderstorms tend to make me a little nervous, so having a calm and understanding environment during those times would be greatly appreciated. A gentle and reassuring presence can go a long way in helping me feel safe and secure.

Please note: Due to my breed-specific needs and requirements, experienced adopters who are familiar with English Bulldogs are highly encouraged to consider providing me with a forever home.
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
