She is amazingly trusting and loving. Personality Swifty is so easy-going that she will just walk into your house and settle in instantly, as if she has always lived there. She is so cuddly and affectionate that you won’t lack for lots of kitty love. She lets any stranger pick her right up and hold her, and she doesn’t care about other cats at all. She will go right up and snuggle with your dog too. Swifty has FOMO, overflowing confidence, and isn’t afraid of anything, even feet stepping over her. She is the greeter and makes sure everyone knows she is there, and is always literally right in the middle of the action. Her whole litter is athletic and were nicknamed the ninjas because there was no containing them. None of them has ever met anyone who isn’t her friend. Swifty would be a great first pet, especially for people who love dogs, because her personality is more like a golden retriever than a typical cat! Background Swifty’s litter of 5 kittens and her momma Empanada (a Hemingway cat with extra toes!) were living outdoors in an apartment complex, being fed by residents before she was surrendered to a GNAR foster home. Empanada had been there for many months, long enough to have had more than 1 litter of kittens. Her litter of kittens almost all look just like her, except that they only have the normal number of toes. They all have the same outgoing and confident personality of their mother too. They look like they may be part Abyssinian with their distinctive tabby patterns and reddish brown coloring. ALWAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACTION  DOB 6/12/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Ruby, an outgoing, affectionate, and cuddly lynx-point Siamese gal with bewitching blue eyes who thinks being right in the middle of what you’re doing is the most exciting place to be! Don’t be fooled because I’m a tiny girl – the runt of my litter -- because I more than make up for it with my big personality! Since I was born in foster care, I’ve loved people from the first day of my life. I thrive on being held and handled because that’s all I’ve known. I’m a gentle, easygoing gal who loves cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap for a nap as well as being her bedfellow. My momma Sky is an enterprising young lady, and when she was about a year old, she showed up at a nice couple’s door one night, and – guess what – they invited her in! Thank heavens they did because a few days later, she delivered my litter of five Siamese-mix girls. One lone kitty is one thing, but a family of six who all needed wonderful homes was a little more than this couple was prepared for. So they reached out to HOPE on FaceBook, and the next thing I knew, momma Sky and we #Siamese-dollbabies were comfortably situated in the home of an experienced HOPE foster meowmy. I grew up in my foster home with the resident kids and cats as my friends, so they are like second nature to me. I’m also confident around the noise of busy households. I’m not keen on the dogs whom I’ve meet, but I can handle them. Of course I love playtime – whether it’s playing interactively with Foster Meowmy as she waves the wand toy over my head or if it’s batting my favorite toy mouse around the room like an expert soccer striker. LIFE OF THE PARTY  DOB 8/19/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Willow, a sweet, outgoing, and affectionate lynx-point Siamese mix fella with brilliant ice-blue eyes. Like most Siamese mixes, I’m talkative – not shy at all in sharing my opinions! I’m very subtle about the way I hint that I want Foster Meowmy’s attention – I reach up to her to be petted. My Russian-Blue-mix sister Raven and I were found by a trash bin in Pearland when we were two months old. Thank heavens our Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and fostered us so that we’d have a better chance at a happier life than dumpster-diving. We are both high-energy, so we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and usually we collapse in a puddle when we’re exhausted. As a dainty little girl, sometimes Raven wants to call it “quits” sooner than macho-boy [me], so she growls at me to get me to stop chasing her.
