Torch's Story...
Hi! My name is Torch. I'm a 3 month old Domestic Shorthair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a happy, loving girl that loves lots of attention. I am very shy at first when you first approach me but, I tend to warm up afterwards. I am good around kids but, don't like to be handled to much. I need a nice, relaxing home that will have loving and caring people that will show me lots of attention. Once I get more comfortable with people, the more you will fall in love with me. If I sound like the girl for you, then hurry to the SPCA today and come see me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Torch, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
