Cajun (KK)'s Story...
Cajun~(KK for short) wandered in three years ago and has been living on the farm ever since, but economic times are forcing his owners to town. KK needs a large yard or big space to exercise. He is friendly, but will make a great watch dog. His size alone will intimidate people. He is used to small dogs, kids and other animals. His biggest downfall is jumping. Since KK is large, it would be best if his new owners are ready for firm training and boundary setting. KK is used to coming into the house at night when the weather is bad, but spends the rest of his time outdoors. He is very polite in the house. He walks on a leash and has even assisted in pulling his owner's wheel chair. KK would love to be your forever friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cajun (KK), a Chewelah Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Chewelah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Chewelah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chewelah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chewelah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chewelah paves the way for another one to be saved.
