My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a happy, goofy companion who’ll fill your days with cuddles and tail wags? Meet Diesel, a lovable, treat-motivated pup who's ready to find his forever home! At 2 years old and 50 pounds, Diesel is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly charm. Diesel is people-friendly and loves everyone he meets. His medium energy level means he’s up for a couple of walks a day and some toy time, then he’s perfectly content to settle in for a cozy nap or a cuddle session. He’s eager to please and food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. A big fan of toys and playtime, Diesel also has serious lap dog vibes—yes, he truly believes he can fit in your lap, and he won’t take no for an answer! He knows some basic commands, is crate trained, and is working on being fully house-trained. He’s also calm and relaxed in the car, making him an ideal road trip buddy. Whether it’s exploring the neighborhood or just chilling on the couch, Diesel is up for anything as long as he’s with his people. Curious, smart, and full of love, Diesel is the full package. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and loyal best friend who brings the joy and the snuggles—Diesel might just be your perfect match. Ready to meet him? Come say hello and fall in love at first tail wag!August 6, 2025, 9:10 am

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
