My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big, bold and breathtaking, Blu is a large black kitty who looks like a baby panther that wandered in from the wild and decided indoor life was the way to go. With his sleek coat, powerful build and striking presence, he turns heads the moment he enters the room.

Despite his panther-like looks, Blu is all heart. He has a confident yet easygoing vibe and carries himself with quiet assurance. Whether he’s lounging like royalty, stretching out to show off his impressive size or padding over for attention, Blu has a way of making everything feel a little more majestic.

If you’ve ever dreamed of sharing your home with a mini house panther who brings both drama and devotion, Blu is ready to claim his throne by your side.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
