Hi friends! My name is YangYang and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
RESCUE STORY - Like many of my Korean doggy friends, I was found living at the crowded Gimje City Shelter along with my mother, Ivy, and my siblings. It was becoming more difficult to care for us puppies in the shelter with poor conditions, and so we were quickly rescued by some kind hoomans so that we wouldn’t have to spend a long time alone during the Chuseok holidays!
TEMPERAMENT - I like hoomans a lot and will even approach strangers. Once I become familiar with someone I grow even more affectionate and adorable, happily following them around and enjoying their company! As is true to my Jindo roots, I will likely bond hard and fast with one person and may take a bit longer to warm up to others. When hoomans go at my pace, I show my appreciation by uncovering my sweet, loving personality. I get along very well with other pups and currently live with one, however I may bark at them at first when I'm on a leash. This is just because I'm a bit aprehensive and I would love a patient adopter who can work with me on this! My energy levels are balanced, with bursts of puppy energy, especially when I'm around other puppies and they approach me asking to play! Generally, however, I prefer to snuggle up next to a hooman or a friend on a soft surface. Once I become familiar with a hooman, I especially enjoy cuddling and affection!
ENERGY LEVEL – Medium to High
GETS ALONG WITH:
PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc., so my adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.
TRAINING:
Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
ADOPTION FEE:
My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD (including 5% GST & 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.

The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
