To be honest, we have no idea what type of dog Dino is. His personality is goofy but serious. His bark is deep and demanding. Basically, hes a mystery!  Even though hes a bit of a question mark on some things, what we can tell you for sure is he is loyal, charming, and a woderful player. When you first meet Dino, its takes him a little bit to warm up. Onces he has done a full assessment, he will instigate playing and might give you a little paw jump. When you've been fully accepted, watch out for mega kisses!  We feel that Dino would prefer a home with another playful dog (but he could also be the only dog). He also would prefer a home where he can get lots of exercise. Lastly, for the safety of little fingers and some of Dinos quirks, no children under 12. ##1709887##

Pretty Delta is a sweetheart. She's a young happy dog who loves to play and be affectionate. Delta's owners got rid of her because they were tired of having dogs. They dumped their 13 year old Shepherd as well. Thankfully, we were able to rescue them before the owners dumped them in one of the local shelters. Delta is great with other dogs and really just a nice, sweet dog. She will be great with another dog in the household or as a single dog. She's a great size at about 50 lbs. We are looking for an adult home with yard access for Delta. Sugar and her pals were abandoned out in a field in the middle of nowhere in Texas. The Good Samaritan who found them made several attempts to get aid from local rescues but not one single one reached out. We sent a transport out to Texas and brought them all back to Los Angeles. Sugar is VERY sweet and docile, LOVES other dogs, people, kids, and will be fine around cats. We think she is a terrier/basenji mix who will stay around 30lbs. Please apply for this lovebug to give her a furever home! Sugar and Marlene (brindle one sitting next to her) are available, rest have been adopted.

I'm Thelma, a 3 month old female Basenji and Italian Greyhound Mix. My sister Louise and I were rescued from a place selling puppies in Anza. I'm a playful pup who can't resist squeaky and crinkly toys. Now, I'm at a great rescue, eager to find a forever family who shares my love for toys and adventure. Come by and meet me and all my other friends at Lovejoy and see if we have a connection. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week.
