Story
Pretty Delta is a sweetheart. She's a young happy dog who loves to play and be affectionate. Delta's owners got rid of her because they were tired of having dogs. They dumped their 13 year old Shepherd as well. Thankfully, we were able to rescue them before the owners dumped them in one of the local shelters. Delta is great with other dogs and really just a nice, sweet dog. She will be great with another dog in the household or as a single dog. She's a great size at about 50 lbs. We are looking for an adult home with yard access for Delta. Please contact Ingrid (310) 480 6030 pcdrapps@yahoo.com If you'd like to meet this cutie, please fill out our adoption application: http://www.pcdogrescue.org/online_application.html

He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself.  He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing.  He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##

He was rescued from the Long Beach shelter and came to us super shy and closed off. Tai’s forever home will need to have another outgoing dog, to show him how to be a dog, and a human who has a lot of love and patience to help bring out his personality full time. He is a very playful dog once he gets to know you and would do best in a low-traffic home. Having another dog is a must for Tai. To meet him, apply for him at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.htmlFebruary 29, 2024, 7:22 pm

Story
I adopted Chia from Korea about a year and a half ago. At the time, he was already almost 3 years old and is now almost 5! At the time, we lived in a house with a yard that Chia could happily run around in. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have had to move to a smaller place in the middle of the city with no yard and hardly a balcony. He has really hated the city life, and his anxiety with city noise (cars, trash, etc.) has become intense. I'm hoping to re-home him somewhere he can live peacefully and run around happily. Hopefully to another family with a yard, or at least away from the city and can take him on lots of walks. He doesn't care to play with other dogs or cats, although he tolerates them. But he much prefers being with humans and cuddling with them as much as possible. He is very sweet, friendly and social with humans. He is a bit anxious around high energy dogs as he has been bitten by one once. He hikes once in a while but prefers to be lazy.
