Story
Robbie is a super sweet, energetic young dog. He can be slow to warm up initially, but absolutely loves food and toys so it’s not too hard to win him over. Once he trusts you, he is a very affectionate little guy. Robbie loves to play with other dogs and does great with shared toys! He particularly loves to stalk and chase, but his little legs gives the advantage to the other dog. He is young and working on his housebreaking as well as learning not to jump on people/furniture so he will need someone willing to continue his basic house training skills. He does very well in his crate and has not shown any separation anxiety. He comes with 2 free dog training sessions and he is fully vetted

Story
Cute little low rider, nice medium size, and a great age, too! Deku's previous family shared with us his love of dissecting plush toys, and lounging in the fun. Deku has lived successfully with several other dogs and may enjoy doing so again.Deku wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's expressive when he's frustrated, anxious when out of his routine, and he tells you when his needs aren't being met. Deku's ideal family will be one that enjoys the processing of getting to know their new dog, delighting in finding favorite toys or activities, and unphased by the need to tweak a plan or change a routine when encountering an unexpected road bump.Because the playful and chaotic way young children live their lives has been agitating for Deku previously, he is now available to families without children, or those over the age of 10. Story
Hi my name is Ace. I was adopted from an animal shelter in January of 2022 at 3 years of age. I'm a basset hound/dachshund mix. I'm brown/tan. I'm house trained. I'm up to date on all my shots. I love being the only animal around. I picked my new mom, as she did me. We're a perfect match. Unfortunately, my adopted mom is struggling. I'm in need of family who can love and give me plenty of attention and stable housing as soon as possible. I'm loving, super adorable, and sweet! If you can accept me into your home as your new family member, I'm your dawg! 😊🐕🐾

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Who can resist the temptation of some Cheetos?! Meet our delightful lowrider boy, Cheetos! With his unique Basset Hound and Lab mix heritage, he's an irresistible blend of charm and joy. At around 3 years old, Cheetos is a bundle of fun, spreading happiness wherever he goes. This lovebug adores people and is a social butterfly with his canine pals. Whether he's munching on treats, going for leisurely walks, or enjoying playtime with bones and squeaky toys, Cheetos knows how to have a good time. And let's not forget his love for mealtime – eating is definitely one of his favorite pastimes! Weighing in at approximately 55 pounds, Cheetos has plenty of love to share. He's a hilarious Velcro dog who thrives on being part of the family's activities. When it's time to unwind, Cheetos is all about cuddling up on a lap for some quality relaxation time. Cheetos has mastered leash training and is a joy to have by your side on walks. Plus, he's house-trained, so no worries about messes with him around! Although he's not the biggest fan of the crate, he'll happily settle down there when needed. With his signature trot and friendly demeanor, Cheetos is sure to steal your heart. While he's incredibly sweet, his size and strength mean he's best suited to a home without very small children or feline friends. Fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and having completed heartworm treatment, Cheetos is ready to become the newest member of your family. Don't miss out on the chance to meet this adorable and charming boy – apply today and get ready for a lifetime of happiness and love with Cheetos by your side! Story
** If you are interested in adopting Kipper please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** If you're searching for the most devoted and loving best friend ever, Kipper is the guy you want to have around! Kipper, at just 1 year old and 20 lbs is just naturally a lover! Kipper is a cute as can be Beagle (does not appear to be mixed, although we cannot say for sure). He is EXTREMELY sweet. Kipper was found walking the streets of Texas alone and confused. He was brought into a small rural shelter, and they immediately reached out to Farfel's to help this sweet boy. Kipper is now ready to start his new life in Colorado. From Kipper’s foster mom: “He is really, really good! So cuddly and affectionate.. you can tell he is just so happy to have been rescued. He’s great with dogs and he’s sooo sweet with people. He’s a really good boy and totally goes with the flow. He’s just such a good boy!!” Farfel's Rescue and our Texas rescue partners would love to see Kipper in a home with an individual, family (older kids are preferred, as he has NOT been kid-tested) or active retirees who have the time and love for a very loyal and sweet dog. We'd hate to see Kipper left alone all day while his family works full-time outside of the home, as he is much too social for that type of arrangement. We'd like to place Kipper in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and love. Most of the time these rescue dogs have not had any training. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement group training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for a young guy whose self-esteem will fly high while he masters his skills. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. If you are interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ . **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application.
