Story
Copper, a sweet and loving dog, is in need of a home with no children or other dogs. He is territorial and has snapped at my other dogs, resulting in a bite on my child. Unfortunately, we can no longer risk him being in our home. He has allergies to chicken as result of having chicken he breaks out in a rash and gets ear infections. While he loves to sunbathe and cuddle, he has only child tendencies and cowers from other dogs when visiting dog parks. He is a wonderful dog I am positive we will succeed in the correct home. He is not vicious or aggressive; he is just territorial. We are looking for the perfect home to provide Copper with the love and nurturing he deserves. All shelters want to do a humane euthanasia for him he does not deserves to be put down. Please help us find a home for Copper.

Story
Please meet Blush! She’s so sweet and her puppy dog eyes are sure to make you blush! This sweet, lovable pup loves tummy rubs and snuggling. If she’s not in your lap, her next favorite spot is right in front of the space heater! Blush is very active and she loves to wrestle with her canine foster siblings. We feel she is best suited in a home with another playful dog. She’s still getting used to walking on a leash and can be a bit timid outdoors away from home, so her forever home should also have a fenced in yard. Blush is very smart and food motivated, which makes training a breeze. At only 6 months old, she’s a sponge ready to soak up all the love and tricks her humans can offer her! Blush is being fostered in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/blush/. Story
Heidi is a sweet youngster who will appreciate an upbeat adopter who can help her feel secure while she's navigating the world. She can be shy when meeting new people and has benefited from the companionship of another dog in the shelter to help her feel her best. For this reason, Heidi is recommended to live with another dog to show her the ropes. She's recommended for a home without children due to her sensitive personality. Meet Marco! Marco is a ~3-month-old Beagle mix with a sweet, snuggly personality and a playful spirit. He loves attention, gets along great with other dogs, and enjoys making new human friends too. He’s doing well with potty training and is very motivated by treats. While he’s still adjusting to the crate, he sleeps through the night consistently. Like any puppy, Marco has his moments—chewing on shoes or munching grass—but his affectionate nature shines through. Marco will thrive in a loving home ready to guide him as he grows into a wonderful lifelong companion. ##2419623##

Miss Mae is the sweetest girl! She is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. She is a cuddly dog who will move her blanket around the house to snuggle up with you. She does great on walks and is already potty trained. She is the best companion to anything you want to do but her favorite thing is being by you on the couch. Miss Mae does well with other dogs and has been enjoying puppy parties with her neighbors. She is a tough pup who loves the outdoors as much as she loves being next to you at home. Mae has been through a lot but that’s not stopping her from giving you endless love. You can’t find a sweeter, caring and intelligent little girl.  ##2417024##

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Bernard, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet Bernard! Bernard is a sweet, low-to-the-ground little guy with a charming mix of soft eyes, stubby legs, and a heart ready for a second chance. He is believed to be a Corgi / Bassett Hound mix, but likely has multiple different breeds in his DNA mix! At 2 years old and just 30 lbs and with the stature of a small dog, Bernard is adjusting beautifully to life in foster care after being rescued from a hoarding and abandonment situation in Arkansas. His foster reports that Bernard is gentle, friendly, and especially patient with children. (He has only been around kids 10 and up, so we would only be comfortable adopting him to a home with a kid 10+). He enjoys being around his fosters grandkids and loves a good belly rub. While he’s still learning to walk on leash, he’s making great progress and is eager to please. Bernard gets along well with other dogs—both big and small—and lives peacefully with several in his foster home. He does need a little time to warm up to new people, but his foster says he went right up to her grandson without hesitation. With a calm and loving home, Bernard will continue to build confidence and blossom into a loyal companion. He’s looking for a forever family who will give him the love and stability he’s never known—and in return, he’ll offer plenty of affection, tail wags, and belly-up moments of joy. We don’t know if Bernard has had any formal training, but a (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement group training class will help him build confidence, bond with his new family, and master good manners. Training is essential for a successful adoption, and Farfel’s is happy to provide a list of recommended force-free trainers to set him up for success. Bernard has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines, and neutered. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. If you are interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ . **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application.
