Hello, My family: Rosebud (F, momma), Elmer (M, daddy), Zinnia (F), Roisin (F, Irish for Rose), and Magnolia (F). We were found on a country road with few houses and fewer cars passing by. To our blessing, a lady in a pickup truck came by shortly after we were dumped. It was also in our favor she knew who we were and that our owner had died. Our savior was a foster mom for this dog rescue. We are healthy, happy, and ready for our very own homes. We are shy at first with strangers, but that doesn't last long. We are social babies. Our foster mom has many other dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, and horses. We love the water. There is a little swimming pool and a creek. Rosebud (F) would like to go for walks or hiking. Elmer (M) Is special needs. When he exited the yard one day, he returned the next day. Something had attacked him. His left leg had repairs done outside and inside of his rear leg. No residual problems. He also had one toe on his left foot amputated. Zinnia (F), Roisin (F), and Magnolia (F) are the silliest, happiest girls. They love putting their face in the water and blowing bubbles—just clowns. We are all ready to be adopted. Meet Jasper!Are you in the market for a handsome beagle pup with the personality of sunshine incarnate? You are now.Jasper is seven months old and weighs just over 30lbs. He is OBSESSED with people. If you've got a lap, he wants to be in it. He has no issues just bouncing over and plopping into your lap like he's been there all along. Once he gets comfy in your lap, you're not allowed to move. It's illegal. Sorry, we don't make the rules.Jasper is all things puppy and all things beagle. He's got the BIG beagle bark and can and will shout at other dogs in his excitement. He LOVES other dogs and gets super excited when he meets them but, again, ends every meet by howling in their ear which, shockingly, most dogs don't actually appreciate. He's shown no red flags with cats and seems more interested in their food than them. While he loves people and will never say no to a good lap to snuggle up in, he also definitely enjoys his play time. He's a puppy and has seemingly endless energy to burn and chasing a ball or wrestling with a plush toy forever and ever and ever is a good way to do that. He also loves his walks and is pretty good on a leash for a young guy. There's definitely some twisting and zooming but...again, he's a puppy.As far as cues go, he knows "sit" and "down". Selectively. Sometimes. When he feels like it.We're looking for a home with kids 12+ that can tolerate being bounced all over, potentially knocked down, and parkoured off of.
