Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Benny! Benny is approximately 7 months old, 26 lb currently, and he is likely a Basset Hound. He was surrendered due to his owner not having time for him. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with kids 10+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. His foster says, `Benny, the basset hound, is proof that you can have the heart of a gentleman, ears of a superhero, and the spatial awareness of a bull in a china shop wearing roller skates. Benny is a delightful pup who approaches every room like he is leading a SWAT raid, then looks genuinely baffled when chairs, pillows, and innocent bystanders end up in his wake. Benny has never met a stranger. He loves and wants pets and playtime from everyone he meets.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on July 17th or possibly earlier. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com.

Story
Hello, My family: Rosebud (F, momma), Elmer (M, daddy), Zinnia (F), Roisin (F, Irish for Rose), and Magnolia (F). We were found on a country road with few houses and fewer cars passing by. To our blessing, a lady in a pickup truck came by shortly after we were dumped. It was also in our favor she knew who we were and that our owner had died. Our savior was a foster mom for this dog rescue. We are healthy, happy, and ready for our very own homes. We are shy at first with strangers, but that doesn't last long. We are social babies. Our foster mom has many other dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, and horses. We love the water. There is a little swimming pool and a creek. Rosebud (F) would like to go for walks or hiking. Elmer (M) Is special needs. When he exited the yard one day, he returned the next day. Something had attacked him. His left leg had repairs done outside and inside of his rear leg. No residual problems. He also had one toe on his left foot amputated. Zinnia (F), Roisin (F), and Magnolia (F) are the silliest, happiest girls. They love putting their face in the water and blowing bubbles—just clowns. We are all ready to be adopted. Please request an application today, alittlelonger2home@gmail.com, to begin our journey home to you. I am prepared for an adventure! I want to see the beach, lake, apple orchards, hiking trails... Zinnia Spayed Female Breed Basset Hound mix Color White and fawn Age 7 months old (As of 09/08/2024) Weight 20lbs Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens and horses Adoption donation $495

Story
Meet Daisy Belle ❤️Some dogs come into your life with a story. Daisy Belle came with a mystery. She was found in a very remote area on a farm, and no one knows how she ended up there. What we do know is that whoever adopts Daisy Belle will be gaining an absolute treasure. At 28 pounds of pure love, Daisy Belle is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She bonds quickly and deeply with her people and simply wants to be where you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or settling in for the night, Daisy Belle is happiest by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, never causing a fuss. If another pet wants to play, she's happy to join in. If not, she's perfectly content to go with the flow. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion in a variety of households. Daisy Belle loves treats, looks forward to every meal, and has excellent house manners. She is fully potty trained, happily goes outside to do her business, and comes right back in. At bedtime, she loves to snuggle and sleeps soundly through the night. While Daisy Belle isn't a fan of being crated, she doesn't need one. She is well-behaved in the home and doesn't spend her time getting into mischief. She can stay home alone when necessary, but she would thrive with a family where someone is around much of the time. More than anything, she loves companionship and being part of the daily routine. As for her breed mix, your guess is as good as ours! She appears to be a unique combination of Basset Hound and Boxer or perhaps Basset Hound and Bulldog. Whatever her DNA may say, the result is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big heart, a charming personality, and plenty of love to give. Daisy Belle's beginnings may be a mystery, but her future is easy to imagine: curled up beside the people she loves, finally home where she belongs.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in helping this girl!!!!!!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 20, 2026, 3:36 pm
