Meet Brunson - The Big Hearted. At just 2 years old and 25 pounds, Brunson is proof that some dogs are born with hearts too big for the world they've been given. Brunson was abandoned behind a government building in Puerto Rico, where he spent over a month trying to survive on his own. The wooded area behind the building was home to packs of other dogs, and because Brunson is naturally so friendly, he constantly tried to make friends. Sadly, many of those encounters ended with him being attacked. Again and again, he approached other dogs with a wagging tail, never understanding why they didn't want to play.  Today, Brunson is living in foster care in Puerto Rico, and he has blossomed into the sweetest companion imaginable. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he's curled up next to his people. He's a laid-back, sleepy boy who would much rather spend the afternoon cuddling on the couch than causing any trouble. He loves everyone he meets and gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. His foster describes him as the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved.  After everything he's been through, Brunson deserves a family that will never leave him behind again. He is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is available for adoption throughout the United States. Transportation to his forever home is included in his adoption fee.  If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate best friend with a heart of gold, Brunson is waiting patiently to meet you.

Charlie is healthy, affectionate, and has the classic Basset personality—sweet, goofy, laid-back, and incredibly people-oriented. He loves attention, enjoys being around both people and other dogs, and is happiest when included in family activities. Charlie is friendly, social, gentle, and food-motivated, which makes him easy to bond with and train. He has a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. We are looking for a loving, stable home where he will be treated as a family member and receive plenty of companionship, exercise, and affection. Hello, My family: Rosebud (F, momma), Elmer (M, daddy), Zinnia (F), Roisin (F, Irish for Rose), and Magnolia (F). We were found on a country road with few houses and fewer cars passing by. To our blessing, a lady in a pickup truck came by shortly after we were dumped. It was also in our favor she knew who we were and that our owner had died. Our savior was a foster mom for this dog rescue. We are healthy, happy, and ready for our very own homes. We are shy at first with strangers, but that doesn't last long. We are social babies. Our foster mom has many other dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, and horses. We love the water. There is a little swimming pool and a creek. Rosebud (F) would like to go for walks or hiking. Elmer (M) Is special needs. When he exited the yard one day, he returned the next day. Something had attacked him. His left leg had repairs done outside and inside of his rear leg. No residual problems. He also had one toe on his left foot amputated. Zinnia (F), Roisin (F), and Magnolia (F) are the silliest, happiest girls. They love putting their face in the water and blowing bubbles—just clowns. We are all ready to be adopted. She bonds quickly and deeply with her people and simply wants to be where you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or settling in for the night, Daisy Belle is happiest by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, never causing a fuss. If another pet wants to play, she's happy to join in. If not, she's perfectly content to go with the flow.
