Story
Hello, My family: Rosebud (F, momma), Elmer (M, daddy), Zinnia (F), Roisin (F, Irish for Rose), and Magnolia (F). We were found on a country road with few houses and fewer cars passing by. To our blessing, a lady in a pickup truck came by shortly after we were dumped. It was also in our favor she knew who we were and that our owner had died. Our savior was a foster mom for this dog rescue. We are healthy, happy, and ready for our very own homes. We are shy at first with strangers, but that doesn't last long. We are social babies. Our foster mom has many other dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, and horses. We love the water. There is a little swimming pool and a creek. Rosebud (F) would like to go for walks or hiking. Elmer (M) Is special needs. When he exited the yard one day, he returned the next day. Something had attacked him. His left leg had repairs done outside and inside of his rear leg. No residual problems. He also had one toe on his left foot amputated. Zinnia (F), Roisin (F), and Magnolia (F) are the silliest, happiest girls. They love putting their face in the water and blowing bubbles—just clowns. We are all ready to be adopted. Please request an application today, alittlelonger2home@gmail.com, to begin our journey home to you. I am prepared for an adventure! I want to see the beach, lake, apple orchards, hiking trails... Story
Meet Bailey! Bailey is sweet and soft beagle mix who came in with her father, Kobe. Bailey is affectionate, low energy, and easy to care for in the home. Her beagle side can come out in the form of baying and barking - and she's thrilled when Kobe joins in on the chorus. She has lived with kids, cats, and dogs before which makes her the perfect family pet. If you are interested in Bailey, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org to schedule a meet and greet.

Story
Benny is a fun, energetic, and affectionate dog who absolutely loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. He has a big heart and shows endless love and loyalty to everyone around him. I rescued Benny from a kill shelter in Alabama in 2022, and he’s been a wonderful companion ever since. He’s now 3 years old and full of life. Unfortunately, due to increasing expenses, I’m looking to find him a new home where he’ll continue to receive the love, attention, and care he deserves. Benny would thrive with someone who enjoys being active and wants a loving, playful dog by their side.

Story
Meet Coop, a teenage beagle/dachshund mix with lots of personality and confidence in a little low-rider body.  Coop is playful, super friendly and totally unfazed by the fact all his friends are bigger than him. He loves to zoom around the yard and have all his doggy friends chase him.  Coop is likely full grown at 8-9 months old and approximately 30 lbs. He has a beagle body and demeanor, and a dachshund face, but he may also have other breeds in the mix.  Coop was a stray who spent almost two months at the shelter before his foster mom brought him home. While we don’t know his past, Coop acts as if nothing bad has ever happened to him. He’s a confident little fella who greets every dog and human he meets with lots of love, including kids. He’s super affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses.  Coop is a very well-adjusted boy and would be an easy addition to almost any home. He’s potty trained, crate trained and walks great on a leash. He would do well in an apartment with an active owner who wants to walk him and take him to run around at the dog park. Or he would do great paired with another playful dog at a home with a big fenced-in yard. Coop is energetic, but he is happy to chill after his morning walk or playtime. He’s a really good boy who could easily be taken along for all of life’s adventures!
