Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Valentino is an adorable boy who is currently with our partner in North Carolina. Valentino is hoping to come to NJ soon if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Valentino is described as a very friendly boy with a short but long body. He loves belly rubs and did great meeting other dogs.  Valentino is not fixed yet but he will be soon and will be microchipped. He is up to date on vaccines. Valentino tested positive for heartworm and will require treatment which includes 30 days of an oral antibiotic, 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic and 30 days of restricted activity. Wag On Inn will pay for his treatment.  His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to    wagoninn.rescuegroups.org   . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Story
Meet Mint!! Mint is a 9 year-old, 34 pound Basset Mix who loves cuddles and being close to her people. Mint's superpowers include being incredibly sweet and affectionate along with having a great nose. She is confident on city sidewalks and keeps her nose to the ground in true hound fashion, always on the case! She is still working on her crate training but sleeps through the night when she has someone to cuddle. In terms of house training, Mint does really well on a schedule. Right now she goes out every two hours (except during the night) and hasn't had an accident since. We are optimistic that with time and positive reinforcement crate training, she will be able to hold it longer! Some of Mint's favorite things are her kongs (stuffed with Weruva chicken and frozen!), kibble in her snuffle mat, and a good blanket to burrow in. If you're looking for a heart melter with the best ears in town, Mint might be your perfect match! Mint is currently being fostered in Manhattan, NY, and her adoption fee is $325. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Adorable Bobby! He is the last available of his litter. They were surrenders after their owner was not able to find good homes for them.  We are told their mom is a beagle-basset mix while their dad was a boykin spaniel mix; whatever mix they are they are adorable.  He is 4 months old and 15 pounds. We think he will be around 40-50 pounds full grown. He is doing great in his foster home. He loves other dogs and playing. He is so sweet and happy. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application which can be found at bcaaofnj.orghttp://www.bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Katelyn (AL) is a female Bassett Hound/Shepherd mix estimated to be 5 months old at the time of intake in March 2024. Katelyn is up to date on core vaccinations (age-appropriate) and is microchipped. She will be spayed prior to joining her forever home unless  there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Katelyn is good with people and other dogs. Katelyn was brought into rescue after her owner gave her up, and now Katelyn will go on to live a fantastic, happy life. Katelyn's unique breed mix sets her apart from other dogs. She is super cute, happy and oh so sweet! She likes to be heard and loves to rough house with her siblings. She is adorably dopey. If you can give Katelyn the happy, loving, forever home she so deserves, please apply online to adopt Katelyn (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Her adoption fee is $575.   Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2024, 6:54 pm
