Valentino is hoping to come to NJ soon if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Valentino is described as a very friendly boy with a short but long body. He loves belly rubs and did great meeting other dogs.  Valentino is not fixed yet but he will be soon and will be microchipped. He is up to date on vaccines. Valentino tested positive for heartworm and will require treatment which includes 30 days of an oral antibiotic, 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic and 30 days of restricted activity. Wag On Inn will pay for his treatment.  His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. Hello! My name is Evelyn and I am 2-3 years old. My rescuers think I am a chihuahua/Beagle mix. I am 30 pounds of awesomness! I had a sad start in life but I am happy and loved now! I was rescued from a kill shelter with my 9 babies! They were going to euthanize us all due to low space in the shelter and because my babies had ringworm. I was so scared at first when I got to my foster home but I quickly learned that my foster family loved me very much and would never hurt me. I have been a stray and a mommy but now I would like to try being someone's baby. I promise to try to be the best baby to someone who wants to love me and give me a chance.
