But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here!
