Crush has been through so much but has the sweetest, most resilient spirit. This 3-year-old boy is a fun house companion who gets along well with people of all ages and other dogs. Now that he's feeling better, he has lots to say so would need to be adopted to a house (no apartments). Crush is healthy, healed, and working on leash manners. And he's so cute! This boy deserves the very best happily ever after after such a rough start. ##2259121##

3 y/o Barney was found stray and came to HBHR to find a new home. As a Basset Hound, Barney is on the small side, weighing only 42 pounds! Barney is a sweet, goofy boy who loves being petted but is never demanding of your attention. Barney has great house manners with the use of a dog door. He plays occasionally with a toy but will leave remotes and reading glasses alone! Barney loves to run and play chase despite having arthritis in his front legs. It is a shame that such a young boy must live with pain, but he does not let that stop him from playing with the pack. Barney will need joint supplements and arthritis medications for the rest of his life. He has responded well to a monthly injection which will improve his quality of life! Please give this wonderful boy a chance at the Good Life in a home of his own.

Howdy! if you’re looking for a running companion I’m NOT your girl! Lol. I’m looking for a house where I can be part time couch potato and part time sun bather. My name is Halo, a Mama to six sweet babies born in December. Now it's time for me to find my forever home! The best thing about me - I am extremely low key and low maintenance. I chill out all day long - am house trained, sleep and sunbathe. In fact splooting on my lawn basking in the Houston sunshine is my favorite thing to do. I am good with kiddos and a very loyal companion to my humans. I am not a fan of commotion or overly playful and barkey dogs. I would do best in a low-key household as the only dog or with a  mellow canine companion.   If a low key gal is what you’re looking for, I’d love to meet you!    May 5, 2025, 11:20 pm
