This cutie pie was found roaming the streets in Mexicali and 120 weather. She was exhausted, dehydrated and hungry. Maria was covered in ticks and fleas but is like brand new now after a bath, Bravecto and some tender loving care. She has a joyful personality and is a joy to be with. Meet Lexi Beech! 17-year-old Lexi Beech was surrendered to LA's Animal Care & Control's Baldwin Park Shelter by her owner. She weighs 31 lbs. and is very sweet. Lexi is enjoying a two-week Frosted Fling - some well-deserved TLC in the comfort of a home - while we get the chance to learn more about her. Her Fling Mom reports: "Lexi is a dream dog! I was told she seemed sad in the yard at FFF and was shy with people, but she’s nothing like that in a home! Lexi is really excited and playful when I first come through the door. It’s very cute! She’s a very different dog than the shy, quiet one I picked up. Lexi follows me around for pets, lies next to me all night long, knows the best begging poses, and makes the cutest noises when you rub her ears just right! Jellybean is a sweet puppy born to Mama Oreo with her two other siblings, Cupcake and Biscuit. They were rescued from the Calexico shelter and are happy and healthy. Jellybean is described by staff as being super confident, energetic, and playful! She isn't afraid to explore new areas and is always ready to rumble. She is the tallest of her siblings. As of November, she is around 2-months-old and weighs around 15lbs. Mama was listed at the shelter as a Beagle/Dachshund mix - we're not sure who dad is, but babies may be a mix of Beagle x Terrier.  ##2558725##
