Everything seems new and interesting, and it`s been fun watching his confidence grow each day. Toys can be a little intimidating when he first encounters them, but once he realizes they`re nothing to worry about, he`s eager to investigate.Once Pumpkin feels safe and comfortable, he absolutely loves attention and enjoys soaking up pets and affection from the people he trusts. His favorite things include stuffing-filled toys, relaxing on a comfy dog bed, watching TV at your feet, and spending time outdoors on beautiful days. He’s housebroken, sleeps soundly through the night, and will happily let you know when he needs to go outside by barking at the door. Buddy has a few quirks that make him uniquely him. He is absolutely terrified of leashes and will not walk on one, so a securely fenced yard is a must. He also has a stubborn streak (he is a Beagle, after all!) Buddy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to help him continue building confidence. While he hasn’t been around cats, he does enjoy chasing squirrels and rabbits in the yard. Dawn is a happy girl who enjoys the simple things in life… treats, ear scratches, soaking up the sunshine on the patio, leisurely walks, and curling up on a comfy couch for a nap. She rides wonderfully in the car, sleeps through the night, and is happiest when she’s near her people. She can be a little bossy with other dogs from time to time, but does well with respectful canine companions. She’s mostly house-trained and does best with a doggy door or an adopter who watches for her quiet cues. She’ll simply stand by the door when she needs to go out. She also uses potty pads if needed. Dawn isn’t a fan of crates, baths, or ear medications, but she’s patient and tolerant when necessary. Her ideal home? One with a cozy couch, plenty of love, and lots of booty scratches!
