She does great in her crate and is housetrained. She is an active girl and super loving too. Dottie is good with other dogs. Patches would like you to patch his life back together with your love! This sweet boy is a 2 Year old beagle Basset hound mix who came to us from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in Missouri for a few weeks with cats so no issues there as well!   This sweet boy does not understand the term personal space! He wants to be in your lap and be loved! He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly! Another four-legged friend would help show him the ropes! Patches is completely up-to-date, neutered, and ready to go! When he was first picked up with the other dogs they did have a bit of a flea infestation that has Long since been cleared up but he still has some patchy skin as a result and it is starting to come back in nicely! Patches’ adoption fee is $300 and he will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard. He is currently located in Columbus Ohio. UPDATE NOV 2026 Ham has landed in a foster home! This sweet boy is Heartworm positive so will be in foster for a few months unless we can find him a forever home close to Columbus OH! Ham is 4yo, beagle, who came from a hoarding situation in St. Louis MO. He is a sweet timid boy who will open up after a few days! He was in a temp foster homer in MO for a few weeks getting vetted. He is good with cats and dogs!  We will update you on Ham’s progress! Right now he is on stage one of HW treatment and goes back to the vet for stage 2 the first week of Dec!  Any donations to our general fund to help us with his vetting would be greatly appreciated! The HW treatments are around $3,000 plus he will still need to he neutered after his treatment is complete!  Donations can be made by clicking the link in this post or visit our website for PayPal/credit card and Venmo info!  ohiobassetrescue.com OCT 2026 Who is this sweet man? That man is Ham! He is a 4yo beagle basset mix. Ham needs the most special forever home because he needs somebody who is willing to adopt or foster him and help him through heartworm treatment, at OBHR‘s cost!   Ham came to OBHR with two other dogs from a hoarding situation in St. Louis Missouri. He is good with other dogs and lived in a foster home in St. Louis for a few weeks with cats with no issues also. He is a shy guy who would do best with another dog to keep him company. He is up-to-date on his shots, However he is not able to be neutered until after his heartworm treatment is complete as we cannot subject him to anesthesia until his heart is healthy. All of this will be done at our cost as long as you can bring him back to our Vet in the Columbus area for treatment. Ham will need to go to a home with a fenced in yard and he is currently located in the Columbus area. If you are willing to open your heart and home to this special boy, please fill out the online application on our website and once Approved shoot us an email. We are looking for either a Foster, Foster to adopt or adaptive home for him!
