Story
My name is Target. I’m a 3-1/2 month-old (DOB 06/30/23) hound/beagle mix, tan and white. I like to stare into your eyes with my soft brown eyes and have soft fur. I like to play with my sister Claudine and my foster's other dogs. Then I take a nap. Me and my sister are pretty calm when we’re not playing. They have a cat and we like him a lot! My foster mom has lot of grandkids. We like to play with them and I would make a great addition to your family. I am crate and potty trained. I am neutered and up to date on my vaccines. Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 5 year old, 40 pound, Beagle/ bulldog mix, who loves to take naps and being close to her people! Her superpowers include cuddling with her humans, being crate trained AND house trained! Sometimes being around strangers makes her a little nervous, but once she gets settled in and comfortable with her humans, her favorite place to sleep is in your lap! She is still unsure about walking outside and loud noises, but with patience and training, we believe she'll be a confident walking buddy! Her favorite treat is some good old fashion cheese! Lucy's ideal furever family would be on the quieter side and will give on her lots of lovin'. If you're looking for the sweetest girl to love on who will give you the best snuggles, she might be your perfect match! Lucy is being fostered in Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Between December 1st and 17th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $50! Looking for a snuggly adventure buddy? Then look no further because Harrison is ready to be your new best friend! Harrison is a 44lb Beagle, the perfect size for cuddling up next to you on the couch. At 7-years-old, he is the perfect age for his breed, still having plenty of energy to run and play while also prioritizing time to snooze and relax throughout the day. Harrison loves to go for walks, using his amazing nose to follow any interesting scents he finds. He also loves to lay on the porch and bask in the sun! Some of his other hobbies include chewing on bones or figuring out a new puzzle toy. But his favorite activity of all is getting pets and love from his humans. Harrison is doing really well with his house training, rarely having accidents as long as he is let out regularly. He chooses to sleep in his crate when hanging out at home, but does bark some when left alone. He absolutely loves treats and would be easy to train basic commands. Harrison gets along well with the dogs in his foster home. He is a little shy with new humans at first but warms up very quickly and is incredibly sweet and gentle. This loving boy can't wait to spend his forever as part of a family. Apply for Harrison today! His adoption fee is $275. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Sally (Ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com), 937-321-6356 for more information about this pet.Miss Minnie is still looking for a forever home! She is such a SWEET dog! She is about 8 years old, beagle possibly spaniel mix. She is house trained and good with other dogs. Not cat tested but she is so sweet we wouldn’t expect it to be a problem. She is completely utd and spayed. She is a calm girl with great house manners. She won’t even get up on couches or your bed, she is perfectly content with a comfy dog bed! She has the SOFTEST fur…on 90% of her body! She had a HORRIBLE skin condition when we first got her and she has had most of it clear up but the hair on her backside is still coming in slowly. The vet said she would most likely need to stay on allergy pills. She is currently being fostered near Dayton. Please apply at ohiobassetrescue.com and email ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com if already approved! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2023, 9:35 pm
