Dunkin turns 5 years old on 2/2/2027 (our birthday guess). Dunkin is an absolute sweetheart! He is full of love. I am looking for someone that maybe has no other dogs or just other small dogs. He LOVES to play with cats! He is so friendly to cats. He is friendly with most dogs, but he prefers smaller or calmer dogs. He is having a hard time adjusting with our german shepherd, but he is best friends with our other smaller dog. Dunkin loves snuggles, walks, treats, and going on adventures. He is off leased training and he listens very well especially if you have treats. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to give him a happy life. He is very good for baths, nail trims, brush outs, car rides, and meeting new people. He is fully house trained/crate trained. He does great while im at work for 9+ hours. He loves small squeaky toys and bones to chew on. Dunkin would thrive with a big backyard! *he does love to bay/howl sometimes*I can give you his toys and other things that he likes!

Ryder was saved after his owner threatened to shoot him for not being a good hunting dog. We had planned to keep him as a buddy for our beagle (our other passed away), however with the number of dogs in our rescue, it is only fair to Ryder to have a home of his own. He is a wonderful dog with typical beagle behavior. He was abused so I would not suggest small children or children who do not understand to pet softly. He loves to be loved on and is understanding that he is safe now. He is not a hunting dog and needs to be indoor. He is full-blooded but he did not come with papers (if that is important).

Meet Tessa! A 3 year old beagle English bulldog mix. I guess one of them designer Mutts. Beautiful dog indeed she is but..... Takes a very patient , willing, and very understanding person to adopt Tessa. Sadly she has had 3 homes and everyone quit as she was all over the map (she is much better now). She does it all and has no care as she does NOT HIDE WHEN DOING NAUGHTY THINGS. She is a total sweet heart. Bless her heart! She is just mischievous as hell! We are working hard to eliminate those awful behaviors. All while on a strict diet and lots of exercise through out the day. In the last few months she has lost good weight (she was too fat), has learned, and accepts correction, and progress is being made with basic obedience training. She is great when asked to stay still for baths, nail trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning finally! She is cat, dog, and kid friendly too! Tessa is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
