She came to us as a stray from a local shelter. She is a very sweet and active dog who loves to run and play! She will need a home with a fenced in yard. Annie follows the other dogs in the foster home to go outside and potty, and she does very good in a crate when her foster family is not home. She has not been tested around cats but does great with all of the other dogs in the house. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots and ready for a new home. Her adoption fee is $300.She weighs approximately 40 pounds. Annie is currently being fostered in the Dayton area! Hi I'm Merlin! I'm a little shy but once you get to know me I'm as sweet as can be. I'm around 6 years old and 45 lbs, and I would do best with a simple, routine life without too much excitement. In fact, I could spend almost all day on the couch with my head on your shoulder. I am vision impaired but once you help me learn where everything is, I do just fine navigating on my own- I'm even crate trained and enjoy having a crate as my "home base". I am perfect with cats and dogs, and would really love a dog friend to help me continue building my confidence. I do need a fenced in yard at my forever home, being on leash is tough for me until I feel super safe and secure. If you're a homebody with a little bit of patience and a gentle soul, I would be the perfect companion for you and I am sure to give you all the love you'll ever need. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Say hello to Arizona! This lovable pup started her journey with us as a tiny baby, found a family, and then sadly made her way back when her medical needs became too much for them to handle. Arizona has Addison’s disease, which means she takes a pill every day and gets one injection a month—it's part of her routine now, and she's a champ about it. She’s had a bumpy road and can be a little shy at first, so she’ll need some time (and patience!) to get comfortable with new people. Because of her history, we think Arizona would do best in a calm home without young children. She gets along well with mellow dogs and will need a secure backyard for her outdoor adventures. Arizona is looking for someone who understands she needs to settle in at her own pace, no rushing. Once she trusts you, she’s an absolute sweetheart and will show you just how wonderful she can be.
