Story
Meet Belle, a gentle soul with unshakable strength and a heart full of love. Belle’s story began behind a Piggly Wiggly in Camden, AL, where she lived alongside her friends Lizzie and Buster. Life there was harsh—food was scarce, danger was constant, and survival was never guaranteed. At some point, Belle suffered a broken hind leg that healed crooked, leaving a visible reminder of her struggles. But Belle never let her past slow her down. She walks, runs, and plays like any other dog, and the only thing she carries from her injury is her remarkable resilience. The leg doesn’t affect her daily life, though we keep an eye on it since the skin there is thin. What truly defines Belle is not her scar, but her sweet, gentle nature and her quiet determination to love and be loved. With her soft eyes and tender heart, Belle is ready for a forever home where she’ll be cherished for the survivor she is. If you’re looking for a companion who embodies grace, courage, and unconditional love, Belle is waiting to meet you.

Minnie’s Story 🌟 MEET YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: The Sweetest Beagle Mix! 🌟

Are you looking for a "ready-made" companion who is as playful and energetic as she is cute? Meet our 1-year-old Beagle Mix who was a stray and from a rescue in the South. She recently joined our rescue and has been a total "pleasant surprise" from day one.

Why she’s the perfect match:

House Manners: Mostly housebroken. 🏠✨

The Ultimate Snuggler: She absolutely loves her dog bed but would prefer to be right next to you in the big bed.

Car & Leash Pro: She rides like a dream in the car but does pull a bit on leash. 🚗🐕

Playful: She’s a huge fan of tennis balls and soccer balls and will happily retrieve them for you. While she's a "chewer," she is incredibly respectful of her plush toys and has never destroyed a "stuffy." 🎾⚽

Temperament: She is an intelligent girl learning to be more social. When she first arrived she would not climb stairs but soon mastered that. She is highly food motivated and will follow you around for treats. She loves to play with our dog who is very passive so it would be best to pair her with another dog matching her energy. ❤️

Ideal Home:

She would thrive in a home that appreciates a medium-high energy dog who loves a good nap as much as a game of fetch. A fenced in yard is recommended since she loves to be outside. She is learning to be more sociable by not jumping up and barking at all dogs she sees. She would thrive in a home that appreciates a high energy dog who loves a good nap as much as a game of fetch. She would love a companion dog of her energy to play with. She sniffs the cat in her foster home but does not chase. She is fine with children but needs to be reminded not to jump up on them when she first meets them. Using a photo of her on a Dog Scanner app it showed Minnie as a mixed breed between a Braque Saint-Germain (13.4%), Labrador Retriever (13.1%), Jack Russell Terrier (13.1%) and a Beagle (10.3%). Minnie is fostered in Brunswick. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us after a week, please reach out to Passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
I acquired Henry three years ago as a rescue from Georgia. He is 7 years old and still active. He is very affectionate and craves attention. He would love to spend the day in someone's lap. Unfortunately I no longer have the time he needs due to health issues. I am not around much and he is not living his best life. I am hoping to find someone that can give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 10, 2026, 9:52 pm
