Story
Who's looking for a happy go lucky kind of dog? Meet Buddy! Buddy loves everyone he meets! He enjoys being with his people and will follow you where you go. He is a quiet dog that loves to play. Inside, he is happy resting while the household is quiet. Yet, he is playful when you want to play. He loves to go for walks and likes to be the leader. We are working on leash skills as he currently will pull. He is quiet when other dogs are out walking, too. His will come when you call his name. He enjoys playing with a stuffed animal and will toss the toy up in the air to catch it then will roll over on his back and hold the stuffed animal in the air with his paws. Adorable! Buddy is housetrained. The longest he has been left alone is 6 hours with no accidents. He has free range of the house. He is good with baths. A great match for Buddy is a family or someone who will play and enjoy going for walks. He is 29 pounds and pudgy - walking and playing as well as limiting the number of treats that are offered will be beneficial to Buddy. After a walk, he enjoys a little rest. Buddy would be good with kids (probably not infants or toddlers due to his weight and he may accidently knock them down while playing). In his former family, he lived with two other dog and has lived with cats. Buddy is a gem! Adoption fee: $300 + tax Apply at www.campcompanion.org www.campcompanion.org

Story
If you are looking for a sweet 3.5 year old tricolored beagle then you are in luck. Rudy is ready for adoption and really is the greatest dog. He does have jealousy issues and has nipped and bit our 1 year old baby and that is why he is up for adoption. Prior to having our baby he had not bit before. He attends dog daycare once a week and is socialized around other dogs. He has not been by cats. He would come with 5 months of flea/tick and heartworm medication, probiotic, toys and dishes, food and a food holder, treats, collar, leash and dog bed. He is potty trained and loves to go for walks. Wanting him to find his forever home as he really is a snuggly, lovable guy.

Buddy's adoption fee is $300.00 All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We are currently accepting applications for Buddy. Buddy was surrendered to a Veterinary clinic in the Tulsa OK area. His owner had moved, out of country, and left Buddy with family members. The family did not want Buddy and surrendered him for euthanasia. The veterinary staff could not euthanize Buddy and kept him in a crate until they could find a rescue or adopter. Buddy lived in this crate for 40 days. Buddy needs a securely fenced yard as he loves to visit nearby neighbors and confiscate articles of property that do not belong to him. Buddy needs a human that will have time, patience, and love for him. He has been neglected and allowed to roam freely. He needs a routine and structure. He loves to be outside and thoroughly enjoys leash walking. Buddy shows some issues with resource guarding with other dogs. He has been through training and his new owner will have to carry through with positive reinforcement. We have not had an issue with guarding against humans. Buddy is of the Beagle breed, a natural hunter, therefore, we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Buddy acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Buddy to acclimate to the changes in his life. We would also like Buddy to be the only dog. Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application. Bowie is an independent soul. He gets along with other dogs, however, NO CATS. When transitioning to a new home, please allow 4-6 weeks for Freddie to adjust.
