This sweet and affectionate pup is ready to find a forever home where she can be someone’s loyal shadow and best friend. House-Trained & Well-Mannered Once she settled in, she quickly learned to go potty outside during her walks. She’s also comfortable in a kennel and spends her days calmly hanging out in her foster’s home office. Friendly & Curious While she hasn’t lived with other pets, she shows interest in meeting dogs and cats on walks. She’s gentle with both adults and children and loves being doted on with pets and attention. Personality & Preferences She’s a true people-pup who loves affection—sometimes a little too much, so setting boundaries will be helpful. She isn’t very into toys but is treat-motivated and eager to please. She's learning that 'leave it' means squirrels are not for chasing, though she’ll need continued practice in that area. For safety, she should always be walked with a secure harness. Walks & Energy She walks well on leash most of the time, with the exception of small critter distractions. She would do best in a home that can continue to reinforce positive walking habits.Quiet Companion She rarely barks, making her suitable for shared-wall living. Her voice is quiet and strained when she tries to bark—her foster has a vet appointment scheduled to explore this further (July 1st). Ideal Home She would thrive with a family who enjoys going for walks, giving lots of pets, and continuing gentle training. She’s affectionate, calm, and ready to be someone’s devoted companion. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. or When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
