Story
Hi!  My name is Howie and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter were, after no one came to claim me, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, BCAA heard about my predicament and said they would help me ... yeah!  I am just a little over 20lbs and at about a year old, I shouldn't get much bigger other than maybe filling out some with lots of treats which I love.  I was really scared when I first got into foster buy everyone has been really nice to me and I am coming out of my shell (treats, which I love, help!).  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't paid much attention to those things called cats.  i have also done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding (don't worry, I have a typical beagle "bay" when I'm outside running around).  Once I learned to trust my foster parents, I suprised them by actually doing ok on leash but that's probably because I get to go "hunting" with my nose; however, I would love a fenced yard that I can run around and hunt without a leash from time to time.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
