Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. well, there’s so much I could say about Chase. He is adorable. He is playful. He’s good around other dogs cats. He loves outside actually when I put him out in the backyard and I have a hard time getting him back in so he loves grass. He’s just an all-around good puppy. He was born in April 2025 and I have tried to keep him because he’s so sweet but it’s starting to weigh on me and my family and now we’re looking to move and I have other dogs too, because I have his mother and at this point I just wanna find him a good steady home is forever home and he loves to eat. He also loves to play with balls and his toys and he really loves his chew bones. Anyone who gets chase will be blessed because he is full of love and I want him to get that in return someone that perhaps if they work from home would be nice because I work from home so it makes it easy that he goes outside frequently but he also is very good. I do use a crate to keep him safe when I go out

Birdie is a four year old beagle/cattle dog mix who hasn’t adapted well since we started having children a couple of years ago. She is a smart, energetic, playful, loving dog that loves snuggles. She would do best in a home with older children (8+ years) and larger dogs. She is not cat friendly. Birdie is a great dog but isn’t happy with the small children that have joined our home. She is crate trained.

This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions!
