Story
We got Judo from a neighbor who couldn't care for her anymore. She is about 1 year and a 4 months. We really just want her to have a home where she can have as much freedom as she deserves, one that loves her as much as we do. She's really an amazing dog, she's fun, playful, energetic, but then she also loves to cuddle and relax with you. She's very friendly with other dogs. She is a beaglier so she does bark very loud, but not often.

Story
Nori has arrived in her foster home in NJ. She will be at our Saturday Adoption Event looking for a forever home. *Sponsored by the Grey Muzzle Organization* Meet Nori, a soulful and sophisticated trusted companion who brings a sparkling touch of theater and endless love to every day! This gorgeous senior fido is the absolute definition of grace, greeting visitors with gentle sits and a quiet, observant nature that is simply her way of making a "security check" before deciding exactly when to melt into your lap for snuggles. Nori has a zest for life that puts younger pups to shame; she does a celebratory morning spin around the kitchen island to kick off her potty routine and becomes pure joy at the sight of her leash, proved by her ability to happily walk for miles! Her beautiful, seasoned body tells the heroic story of a mama who has gifted life to many, and now she is ready to be the one who is pampered. Whether she’s "spilling the tea" on the couch while watching TV or rolling over for belly rubs the second she sees a friendly face, Nori is a quiet force of affection. She has mastered the art of the "relaxed routine," transitioning from a brief moment of shyness into a playful wrestling partner for her foster siblings once she’s finished her morning observations. Crate trained, house trained, and an expert at car rides to "Mom-Mom’s," Nori is the most heartfelt fit for a home looking for a gentle, devoted, and truly special trusted companion. 🌟 A Special Note About Adopting a Senior Dog 🌟 This Fido has been signed off by the vet and is ready for his/her forever home as an “as-is” senior sweetheart. Our senior dogs are proudly sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization, meaning there is no adoption fee to welcome one of these wonderful dogs into your home! While the adoption fee is waived, we provide these dogs "as-is," and we ask that all potential adopters fully embrace the unique reality of a senior companion. Please be prepared for these common, graceful signs of aging: Mobility: A senior dog won't move like a 2-year-old; expect mild stiffness or arthritis. Sensory & Vitality: You may notice slight cloudiness in the eyes, hearing loss, or common, age-related heart murmurs. Dental Health: Due to past life as a stray, many seniors have compromised dental health. These are natural, non-emergency findings that come with age. If you are not prepared for a dog that acts and moves like a senior, we kindly ask that you explore adopting a younger dog instead. If you are ready to provide comfort, love, and a peaceful next chapter to a dog who has earned it, our seniors are waiting for you! ❤️ At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. You can trust that every "Fido" in our care is unique, fully vetted, and altered per veterinary guidelines, ready to find their forever home. While their weight or appearance may change as they settle in, our commitment to their health and well-being is unwavering. Whether they're in Texas getting vetted, groomed, and altered, or comfortably settled in New Jersey, all dogs are entrusted to and under the custody of Trust Rescue. They receive loving care in dedicated foster homes or at our facility. No matter where they are, you can trust they are always with us and receiving the best possible care. We've made our adoption process straightforward and accessible because we believe in making adoption achievable for everyone. Ready to Adopt? Apply Today: Fill out our straightforward application! Personalized Meet-and-Greet: If we believe your family is the right fit, our team will contact you within 1-2 business days. We'll schedule a private, 30-minute meet-and-greet at our Trust HQ. This dedicated time is exclusively for your family and your potential new trusted companion. Affordable Adoption: Our adoption fee is designed to be affordable. There are several ways to meet the wonderful dogs available for adoption: Join us at our adoption events every Saturday! Visit our website for future transport information and schedules. Follow us, Trust Rescue, on: • Our website: https://www.trustrescue.org/adoptable-dogs • Facebook, and Instagram for continuous updates on our available Fidos and Saturday events. We're always posting new information! Many of our dogs have lived with cats. While we don't assess for cat compatibility, with thoughtful introductions and your guidance, successful dog-cat relationships are common. You have all of the information here, to the best of our knowledge. We believe in transparency and providing you with everything we know about our trusted companions. Trust Rescue proudly maintains an Open Adoption Policy, building a canine community you can trust and count on.

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. June 18, 2026, 1:55 pm
