Now for my specifics: I am a Beagle mix(with what we do not know), about 5 years old and am weighing in at 22 pounds, neutered, chipped and had my vaccines. I am also heart worm negative! While I am great with other dogs, cats and children, I can't say, as my Foster home does not have either of those. My crate is kept clean and dry--my house manners are a work in progress, but you can't blame me, as I lived outside. Mom is helping to guide me with this and I am getting there! Those male wraps are helping me learn quickly too! My leash manners, well, I was terrified of it when I first got here, but now since Mom's been working with me, I am making great progress--I am not resisting near as much, and realizing it's not that bad!! My ideal owner will be someone who will love and care for me, and have patience with me as I navigate and learn this new life! Due to me being a Beagle, I will need a SECURE FENCED YARD!" Spot is a sweet, loving boy who forms strong bonds with his people. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, so slow introductions during his first few days help him feel comfortable. Once he knows you, he’ll greet you with a wagging tail, a happy smile, and plenty of affection. Spot is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He loves to snuggle, especially if it means sleeping under the covers next to his favorite person. He also enjoys chasing balls and playing with squeaky toys. He did great with a 13-year-old child, however we are recommending no small children. Spot has a gentle, affectionate personality. Because Spot loves his food a lot, he will need to be fed separately from other pets. He would do best in a home as the only dog.
