Story
Meet KitKat! KitKat came to PAR from an extreme hoarding case and was very pregnant. She is the mama to the "coffee litter." KitKat gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would do best having a dog sibling at her new home. She is doing great with house training but just learning to walk on a leash. KitKat's new home should have a fenced yard. She loves to be around her humans, but will take some time to warmup, because of her past, She has raised her babies and is now looking for her forever home. KitKat will need a patient adopter to help her become the best dog she can be! If this sounds like you, don’t hesitate to apply to meet this sweet girl!   Available for adoption weekend of March 8th but you can fill out an application now.   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. Story
Daisy is a 5 year old beagle lab mix. She was originally adopted from the shelter after being found roaming by the side of the road. Daisy been tested with adults and children and has excellent temperament with both. She's also fully potty trained and will do great when put on a schedule. I'm rehoming her, because she's reactive towards other dogs. For that reason she would do well in a home where she's either the only dog or is brought up with a puppy as her reactivity is mainly towards adult dogs that she's not familiar with. Daisy does excellent in a car, so if you are looking for a travel companion she'll be perfect. She rarely barks and is overall a great companion dog whether it's a family full of kids or a sole adoptor.

Story
Meet Milo, who comes to us from the Vance County Animal Shelter. Milo is a 1-year-old, 30 lb. burst of energy who was pulled on his last day. He is socialized and plays well with other dogs. He settled into his new foster home quickly and sleeps in his crate all night without any trouble. Milo corrects easily, walks great on a leash, is crate-trained and housetrained. He loves affection and enjoys sitting out on the back screened-in porch, just chilling. If you are interested in adding this perfect addition to your family, please reach out to us for an adoption application.
